More Wisconsin Emails -- How investigators Targeted Conservative Supreme Court Justices
The Wall Street Journal ^ | 9-17-15

Our liberal friends in Wisconsin are unhappy. They think someone is leaking emails that make the state’s partisan campaign regulators look bad. We’ll plead guilty to having sources, but the emails are news and they sure are revealing.

Today’s installment from court documents concerns how a special prosecutor and regulators at the Government Accountability Board (GAB) targeted the state’s conservative Supreme Court justices. The partisan goal was to force some justices to recuse themselves from hearing a constitutional challenge to their probe of Governor Scott Walker and his political allies.

In a Feb. 11, 2013 email, then-GAB staff counsel Shane Falk wrote to Milwaukee Assistant District Attorney David Robles that “Ala the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Caperton, [Justice Patience] Roggensack may have to recuse herself from any appeals on this Badger Doe [the John Doe probe]. Club For Growth WI has been running expensive TV ads for Roggensack—issue ads but a clear support of her.”

He continued: “DA Chisolm [sic] may want to take this into consideration in his review of proceeding on this matter. I think it helps significantly.” District Attorney John Chisholm is Mr. Robles’s boss.

Now there’s a wow. By “helps significantly,” Mr. Falk means that the prosecutors’ theory would be more likely to survive legal review if they could accuse Justice Roggensack of a conflict of interest because the state Club for Growth had run independent ads supporting her...That email was written...before conservatives...knew they were under investigation.

~snip~

Kevin Kennedy, who runs the GAB, responded to our last editorial by saying his staff merely “feel passionately about ensuring that all parties comply with campaign finance laws” and partisan emails can be explained because “staff of the G.A.B. are human.” Human enough to abuse their power to punish their political opponents.

This just gets better and better.

Interference with a State Supreme Court Justice?

Attempts to intimidate?

By a DA’s office?

Mind boggling.

Something like this must have happened to Justice Roberts regarding Obamacare. But then again, maybe he went willingly.

Kennedy and his staff -Don’t trust them - he was working with the IRS Lois Lerner. The GAB needs to be abolished and fire Kennedy. They are “human” democrats.

Gov Walker ended the public unions, but most government workers are liberal and part of the democrat infrastructure. We need to make them accountable and fire them when they go over the line.

Crooks is retiring.

An opportunity to get a conservative that can win a Supreme court seat.

Chisolm sbould be thrown in jail. Or convicted under rule 308. Either is good.

Crooks has lived up to his name recently with some of his votes. I’ve wondered why I distributed reams of his lit. I thought he was conservative, but he hasn’t behaved that way.

Another report on Alice in Wisconsin. In this chapter, Kevin Kennedy, who runs the Government Accountability Board is playing the role of the Red Queen. Once you have decided to be a Nazi, the gloves are off and you can do whatever works to get your way. Long prison terms are warranted.

“Crooks is retiring. An opportunity to get a conservative that can win a Supreme court seat.”

When I heard this the other morning, I was JUMPING for JOY! We are SO gonna work on replacing him with a ‘human’ Conservative! *WINK*

What a LUCKY BREAK! :)

I know. He disappointed us.

Just as Roberts has.

Sometimes you wonder at what goes on behind the scenes.

The lucky break is that the election to replace him is in the spring, when the turnout is much different from the general election in November. Recall that Obama beat Romney by something in the vicinity of 14 pts in 2012. You wouldn’t want to run a conservative candidate for SCOWI on the undercard in the fall.

You don’t know what you are talking about. Wisconsin’s Club for Growth was the one that broke the gag order thus fighting for our freedom.

Falk is a leftist that was driving this fascist attack on conservatives in Wisconsin.
