The left had a triple whammy of self-congratulation this week when Texas teenager Ahmed was arrested(!) for bringing a bomb to school. The problem is, allegedly, he had brought to school a digital clock he built, to show to class. So this was allegedly a case of Texas being racist and anti-Science™!
Except most of the facts were wrong. He didn’t build the clock, and the school had reason to believe it looked like a bomb.
Anthony at Art Voice has taken down the situation thoroughly... Anthony...found that the clock Ahmed allegedly built, was originally sold at Radio Shack. Pictured is the clock Ahmed put into a case to bring to school: a Micronta 63 756, sold by Radio Shack:
The shape and design is a dead give away. The large screen. The buttons on the front laid out horizontally would have been on a separate board – a large snooze button, four control buttons, and two switches to turn the alarm on and off, and choose two brightness levels. A second board inside would have contained the actual “brains” of the unit. The clock features a 9v battery back-up, and a switch on the rear allows the owner to choose between 12 and 24 hour time. (Features like a battery back-up, and a 24 hour time selection seems awful superfluous for a hobby project, don’t you think?) Oh, and about that “M” logo on the circuit board mentioned above? Micronta.
That’s right, Ahmed didn’t even bother to remove the silkscreened logo and part number Micronta printed onto the circuit board. Anthony also points out the other killer element: Why would you put a clock in a pencil case? It has a lid, that closes, meaning you’ll never actually be able to read the display.

It seems to me that each succeeding generation in America gets DUMBER, not smarter. Critical thinking is obsolete. If it rhymes, it is good enough. You can get by with only a few hundred vocabulary words, and now, you don't even have to spell them out. LOL, BFF, BRB, etc. is our new vocabulary. So will there be any more Shakespeares, or is elegant and clever prose as gone as the thylacine? And no one seems to bother researching facts. If it's on TV or posted on the internet, it's taken as gospel without further analysis. We are in a heap of trouble with this libtard infestation. Worse than ebola.

when i saw the box and that he said it was a clock i knew it was bs. Clocks are what make any digital device work. so you can make them with just a few simple pieces and make a clock. the other features would be part of a software coding implementation. setting the time etc.
This whole thing is ridiculous, treating some electronics in a briefcase like this kid found a cure for cancer. All this praise of him and destroying security measures is absolutely a bad thing.

Hey, this kid “genius” (We’ve got to make the Muslims feel good about themselves, so the government wants us to call them geniuses) created this RadioShack Micronta 63 756 clock just as much as Obama actually wrote his two autobiographies. And the kid “genius” deserves his accolades for his creativity every bit as much as Obama deserved his Nobel Peace Prize. Think how much poorer this poor planet would be without these two fine specimens of humanity.

I have this weird feeling right now hundreds of young muslims all have the very same homework project, or even thousands.
And in the near future these devices will be found in subway stations, on bridges, on dams, on railroad tracks or bridges.
Mass hysteria, muslims get blamed for phony bomb scares that shut half the country down, situation escalates, Obama starts his police state, goes after christians, rounds them up into reeducation camps, suspends elections.
When I was a kid decades ago... bringing a fake time bomb to school and setting the timer so it is counting down to zero in your English class might not have got you in a lot of trouble as long as the teacher was a veteran and he was in on the gag. We had a lot of teachers who were military veterans and they loved to scare the crap out of us kids if they got the chance. Of course we got to blow things up in chemistry class on purpose back then.
Alas times have changed and now Arab kids are blowing themselves up all over the world just to take out a few infidels or Israelis. So fake bombs just aren’t considered funny anymore especially if you are an Arab kid that looks like a suicide bomber wannabe. I am assuming that everyone knew that this kid was a loser incapable of creating anything that actually was dangerous and that is why the bomb squad wasn’t called. Still not funny however.

Muslims are being very patient biding their time til they can have maximum effect.
Thousands of myslims are probably buying up smoke detectors, you get enough of them you will have a very detectable amount of radioactive isotope, enough to trigger remote sensors across the country, so you send these all out, panic the nation while moving the real deal to selected targets.
Ahmed Was on practice run before his 18th birthday.. If the kid had been white and a christian he would already be in the hole and probably never see daylight again...
