... after blowing through campaign cash ...

So is this the primary reason? No one has fallen more from their high point in the primary. But ... wasn't he still in the top five?

Here's hoping this is the bell ringing for about 6 or 7 more near term drop-outs.

He spent all the money on staff, consultants, hotels, travel and George Will’s wife.

Supposedly there is a looming scandal with his campaign manager, too.

Campaign over.

They ae saying around here that he still had plenty of cash, but that new donors were bedoming few and far between. I hear that Tonette pulled the plug after a family meeting.

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.

Any information on the scandal rumors about his campaign manager?

Walker may have been a breath of fresh air in someplace like Wisconsin, but he was far from ready for the national stage.

Trump is beating back the media opposition, but could still "pull a Perot". Walker could be back!

Here’s my theory...when he was winning the Limbaugh Breitbart Drudge primary....and Walker clearly was for weeks...he was skyrocketing in the polls and raising money. He staffed up. He assumed expenses. He couldn’t weather the drop in contributions.

He left the race spouting Cheap Labor Express talking points.

My gut instinct about him was right.

It was apathetic that this once courageous union buster sulked his way out the back door with some shouted insults like the losers he has aligned himself with.

Hmmmm. And you can clearly make the case that the current 'winner' of the Limbaugh Breitbart Drudge primary is The Donald. Easy come, easy go? But Trump funds himself.

Too much spending?
Finances not managed well?

Trump right again?

Yeah, only those governors have experience handling a budget. Walker had a staff of 90, spent money like crazy. Trump barely spends a dime, uses OPM (and not donors, but truly OTHER people’s money) to finance his whole campaign.

My guess is "more of the same" that was probed in the campaign finance and "John Doe" inquiries. Government time or resources used to campaign; or coordination with one or more PAC.

If the scandal dies with shutting down the campaign, and that's what the suggestion is, my hunch is there is evidence of campaign coordination with PACs.

““The bar for Jeb is so high because you all see him as president. Trump’s bar is very low. Walker was fine in the beginning because his bar was low. As soon as he said, ‘I’m the frontrunner, the bar went way up and he couldn’t get over it.””

Perhaps with Walker he’s right. But he’s TOTALLY WRONG with Trump. People forget that Trump started with the HIGHEST NEGATIVES of any candidate in the primary...Trump had a HIGHER BAR to get over than Bush ever had, or Walker ever had, or Rubio, etc.

Republicans simply didn’t trust or like Trump. For Bush, most of the lower-information voters gave him the benefit of the doubt because his father and brother were nice guys. For Walker, most never heard of him, and the ones that did (me included) actually LIKED HIM because of his kicking butt in Wisconsin. Walker EARNED our derision because he simply was not up to the job he was seeking.

Likewise Trump as EARNED our support. This Bush supporter is TOTALLY OUT TO LUNCH and is a perfect example of why Bush can’t even hit 10% support if his life depends on it.

yep - this is why I wrote that article in American Thinker (not sure if Breitbart ran it too) about "the most important primary of all" - being the Rush Drudge Breitbart primary. It's the ONLY path to victory for a non estab candidate.
