Trump: Pope is wrong on climate change

Donald Trump is at odds with Pope Francis when it comes to climate change.

In his White House address Wednesday, the pope called climate change "a problem which can no longer be left to a future generation."

Asked whether he agreed with that on CNN's "New Day," Trump said no.

"I think that clean air is a pressing problem. You want to have clean air, clean water. That's very important to me, and I've won many environmental awards. I am not a believer in climate change," Trump said.

"Look, it's weather. We have bad floods. I can't watch the evening news anymore. Every time you turn on the evening news, they show there's a big rain storm, there's a tornado, there's this. I mean, you can't watch the news anymore. And so it's weather, and it's been that way for so long," Trump explained.

My man. Once again, except for Ted Cruz who has destroyed this nonsensical idea, he is alone on the right as saying this is stupid.

Watched a few minutes on CNN.

CNN reporters/hosts were about ready to convert, the way they were reporting. They really do seem to like the socialistic leanings of this Pope.

It was a literal gag-fest.

Trump may win this by virtue of that stance alone.

Human caused global warming is a stupid idea. Temperature is cyclical. A lot of it is sunspots. Then there is the number of active volcanoes. Both of those things are 1000 times the influence of any greenies wet dream about any human caused global warming.

Climate change is a distraction, a smokescreen.

Thank you Trump and Cruz for speaking truth to the nonsense.

All this talk about climate change is taking away the focus on pollution. Climate change is a way to do wealth redistribution with the elites in charge of doling out carbon credits.

Real pollution is not being addressed. Just to clean up for the Olympics, the Chinese had to close factories in the area months before, so people could breath clean air. What about the Japanese nuclear pollution? The media is not doing any coverage at all on the Japanese nuclear accident which is still spewing out radioactivity.

Even though, some try to portray Trump as a cartoonish bully, He has common sense. I love that about him.

"... I am not a believer in climate change,"

Hopefully Trump meant that he is not a believer in man-made climate change.

“Trump: Pope is wrong on climate change”

Not being a Papist (great word from the past), Trump does not have to pretend he believes every word uttered by the Pope.
Guaranteed if Billy Graham or any other Evangelical leader made such a statement on any subject it would be analyzed word by word, letter by letter to find any thing that could be labeled as lies or heresy.
