I read an article somewhere here online that he stepped down because he was told to by God while praying. The article also made mention of some problems that he was having but didn't delve into them much.
So, looks like the Pope is planning to retire all the Swiss Guards that protect the Vatican.
Oh, wait a minute... no, he isn’t.
He just wants us ‘Little People’ unprotected.
