This comment referencing castration of Trump goes way beyond the “blood coming out of her whatever”. So yes, it escalates the conflict and FOX by broadcasting that comment cedes their righteous high ground.
(By the way, I am a Cruz supporter, but love seeing the Donald take the establishment apart).
I think that if Trump meets with Ailes, he ought to have Ailes relay a message to Murdoch, “You are a petty creep who lets personal differences ruin your network. My daughter Ivanka and your ex-wife Wendy remain friends, Ivanka is loyal to her friends, and will remain friends. So my message is this; tell your loyal employees to quit the ratings bleeding and act civilized, in particular Lowry, Kelly, Will, and Krauthammer. I don’t care if they don’t like me, but boorish behavior and personal insults at your inspiration, is not what made Fox news respected, Maybe, in time, you can gain back some of that respect, but not until all of the people on your network practice a little more dignity.”
Fair and balanced network has gone absolutely insane over Trump - now their name is MUD to many of their (former) viewers and anyone else who has been watching the circus with any degree of objectivity.
All the dems and lefties hate them, so perhaps it's a plan to go solely for the GOPe demographic.

I don’t know if Trump has the steam to make it all the way to the White House (if he doesn’t, I hope Cruz will with a wholehearted Trump endorsement), but what “The Donald” has done already to shake the corrupt media to its knees is nothing short of miraculous. A priceless gift to the Republic in and of itself.

You’re kidding right? This takes things to a whole different level from anything Trump’s been criticized for saying. Gleefully describing an act of sexual mutilation of Trump as an analogy for his supposed defeat in the debate is over the line by a long shot - particularly for a supposedly objective news organization. Trump was right to respond to it
Trump just has to stay newsworthy. A few tidbits here to rile up the news without any “real” message being said is the sop right now. Why give the media any substance when they are playing the “he said what about who” game, all in attempts to get rid of of whomever they can because a candidate misspoke. Trump’s steam is good to go for now. Once we enter into the primary season then Trump will begin releasing more specifics; as of right now it’s too early to do that. He is on message and on target and where he should be. It’s a long way to the election. Those who lay all the cards on the table now, will be sitting in the stands come the election. Trump will still be at that table.

If Trump made the same comment as Lowry people would be cheerinf, but since Lowry made it the same people have turned into little old church ladies. There is no logic in the Trump Zone.
