And if anything goes wrong, it’s Boehner’s (and the Republicans’) fault. It’s the perfect arrangement for the Rats, why would they give that up?

‘There’s almost no chance of that because a real conservative couldn’t get half the GOP caucus to select him. If Boehner goes down then it’ll be McCarthy or Scalise who will replace him. The Democrats can live with either one.’

Something is driving the Dems. At least eight of them have already announced they’ll back Boehner. It was on Breitbart.

If he cared more about our country and doing what is right and what is good for the GOP, he would just step down.

I would regain a little respect for him.

At least that would open up the R ballot spot to run against him in the next election.

Think about that. Pelosi as Speaker. I’m guessing that it would be an improvement because then the conservatives could shut things down and the Dims would at least get some of not most of the blame.

“Why would the Democrats want to save Boehner?”

Because he is their best advocate!

“Better to let the Republicans rip each other apart for a while.”

And this statement proves that they want their best advocate to remain in his position!

;-)

“Could also be a medication, Predisone, steroids, makes you terribly moody, as does anti-depressants and some sleep aids.”

I understand that you are trying to noodle out the realistic options that could be causing Boehner’s mental issues, but let me assure you that it IS ALCOHOLISM.

It is well known in DC that you must meet with him before his happy hours. Heck, not long ago there was a story about “his bartender” planning to poison him, or some such activity. Who has “a bartender” that is reverenced as “their own?” You really have to spend a lot of time in the bar for that reference to occur.

Let’s just say I know all to well how some of those drugs effect your mood. FAILED Nerve blocks ruined mine for a year.

I live out side of the cesspit of Memphis, in the next county, we don’t get the news that others get. And I don’t read every thread with the butt-holes name on it unless it concerns a needed vote. Explains why he doesn’t have any one to answer his useless phone line we paid for.

Do we have any idea if Meadows will replace the boozer?

So I’ll gladly accept your word that booze was the cause. I have a baby brother who has drank himself into a wheelchair.

He is awful. A spineless coward who cries.

As for the pope, I cringed when I heard the pope’s words. Nothing about ISIS, nothing about how marriage is being destroyed by the left, nothing about the homosexual agenda being pushed down our throats, nothing about the oppressive regime in Cuba, nothing about Christians being slaughtered around the world by muslims, nothing about how people of faith in the US are being persecuted and our rights whittled away. He is a disgrace. I do not even think he is very smart. He can barely speak English. How can you be the pope and not speak the world’s major language of business and Christianity? And he had no problem allowing the Palestinian flag to fly next to the Vatican flag at the UN.
