That is why they go along to get along. Last time I checked, McConnell is worth 32 million dollars and has never held a job in private sector. He is one of the leaders in the Washington Cabal.

On marriage #2 he married into a wealthy family and scored on the death of his mother-in-law a few years ago. He's a dime store John Kerry.

Speaker Boehner quit, forcing the Ohio government to pay for a special election. In 2007, after Rep. Pelosi became speaker, ex-Speaker Hassert quit, forcing the Illinois government to pay for a special election. In 1999, then-Speaker Gingrich suddenly quit, causing the Georgia government to pay for a special election. All three of those republican leaders were inconsiderate to their states. If they didn’t want to be leaders, anymore, they should have resigned from their leadership roles and served, as congressmen, until the end of their terms.
