DEBKA FILE: A Chinese aircraft carrier docks at Tartus to support Russian-Iranian military buildup
DEBKAFILE ^ | September 26, 2015, 1:17 PM (IDT) | DEBKAfile Exclusive Report

Posted on 09/26/2015 4:14:24 AM PDT by PIF

Excerpts:

The Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning-CV-16 docked at the Syrian port of Tartus, accompanied by a guided missile cruiser.

(snip)

Our sources report that the Chinese will be sending out to Syria a squadron of J-15 Flying Shark fighters, some for takeoff positions on the carrier’s decks, the rest to be stationed at the Russian airbase near Latakia. The Chinese will also deploy Z-18F anti-submarine helicopters and Z-18J airborne early warning helicopters. In addition, Beijing will consign at least 1,000 marines to fight alongside their counterparts from Russia and Iran against terrorist groups, including ISIS.

(snip)

... just as Russian marines will be instructed to single out rebel militias with recruits from Chechnya and the Caucasus, the Chinese marines will seek out and destroy Uighur fighters from the northern predominantly Muslim Chinese province of Xinjiang.

In the same way that Putin has no wish to see the Chechen fighters back in Russia, so too Chinese President Xi wants to prevent the Uighurs from returning home from the Syrian battlefields.

A very important development which seems to be hugely overshadowed by the US Presidential race. One of the most under-reported stories of the day.

Okay....Russia and China have legitimate concerns that blood-thirsty madmen will return to their homelands. So what do they do? Coordinate and send their militaries in to disintegrate them before they leave ISIS-land (or whatever it's called).

Europe and the US have legitimate concerns that blood-thirsty madmen will return to their homelands. So what do their leaders do? Welcome primarily fighting age male "migrants" from those areas with benefits, housing and refugee status, distributed by fiat all over the US and EU.

When do I wake up from this Alice-in-Wonderland upside down really bizarre nightmare?

President Nobel Peace Prize has set up the next war by ceding the high ground to America’s enemies. Armageddon is in motion. This is the result of electing an unqualified man to the highest office on the planet, not once, but twice. How narrow-minded is our electorate that they’d focus on imagined racism, invented anthropomorphic global warming and political correctness over just keeping the world safe for tomorrow?

I have a theory that unless we are threatened with annihilation we are overcome with irrelevancies. How long will women in combat last when we have combat on the scale of World War 1? How important is having a transgender in the trenches when the most important thing is staying alive until tomorrow? We’ve given up our advantages and when all sides are equal not only do you get horrendous casualties but the most important thing, the only thing, is not dying. I look forward to the death of irrelevancies and political correctness, as it won’t survive in the coming maelstrom. But I’m terrified of what these political idiocies have bought us. For the first time America could be destroyed. If it is, the world’s candle lighting a brighter future for the human race will be snuffed out with it.

If this is true (It is a Debka File report) then the ChiComs are in the South and the Russkies are in the North, securing the coast.

The stories on DebkaFile are generally picked up days or months later by other media outlets. Many ‘mainstream’ outlets are now reporting the story about the Russians in Syria which Debka has been reporting on for years. This situation has now escalated way beyond the heavy weapons Russia has been supplying Syria with over the years. Yet somehow Debka is making it up or something?

Your bias is showing.

Reports which are generally true (unless it concerns Palestinian/Israeli machinations or internal Israel politics) just as any other outlet stories are generally true, with exceptions.

Both parties are based at Tartus, and, from the sound of it, will be working together first in Syria and then Iraq. They aren’t securing the coast so much as eliminating a major threat to their country’s security.

None of this would have happened had Obama not withdrawn US forces.

I know it’s Debka but this strategy of finding and fixing the battle on ISIS Chechens and uighurs rings true

There were earlier reports of 2 Chinese ships transiting the Suez enroute Syria

I agree. But this dogma may be inaccurate. Over the years, I have found Debka analysis, if not always perfect, usually to be fairly cogent and almost always ahead of the curve. I would give far more credence to reports coming from Debka than any MSM outlet.

of course it is inaccurate but it is dogma and a crutch for those wanting something to post. one can always chime in “Debca bad”

I agree with you completely. The damage done by BHO is going to be an order of magnitude greater even than that done by Carter, which was itself considerable, in that he enabled the loss of Iran -- once a staunch friend now an implacable Islamic enemy. BHO is the greatest disaster ever to befall this nation.

Any movement of the Liaoning A/C carrier out of Chinese home waters would be REALLY big news.

I do not believe it is on such a mission.

Can anyone verify this or are we to take DEBKA report as gospel?

Anyone who takes DEBKA as gospel is bound to be to be disappointed.

Yes. I did a search for any story involving the Liaoning and the ONLY ONE reporting this is DEBKA.

While the US press might not report it, the UK would, as well as the Japanese. Zero, nilch, nicht, nada, null.

As some one who spent MANY years in military intelligence, I can strongly assert that this would be huge news if it was so (that the Chinese deployed the Liaoning).

Do not believe it folks, unless of course, you’re into conspiracy theories. I can’t help you with those.

Pravda also reporting a Chinese ‘carrier’, not specific. Could be a helicopter carrier, or might mean something big enough to launch a recon plane. Or just BS.

It is widely reported that there are some other Chinese military ships near Syria, ostensibly just keeping an eye on American ships in the area.
