I have been a freeper for years, love to read the posts and replies. Please forgive me if i posted wrong. But I'm so sad and overwhelmed. My husband who had three stroked committed suicide in a terrible way. My daughter found him. He left us nothing.I am so very worried about my daughter.Please pray for us!

St. Dymphna is one to pray for, for this type of horrendous sadness. She is the saint for mental illness. Your husband would never have done this in his right mind. Your daughter will eventually have to forgive him for her own peace of mind. I am so incredibly sorry. I will join the FReepers in praying for you (and your daughter). I am very sorry for your terrible loss. People who have brain damage may not be fully culpable for what they do. However, they are certainly capable of hurting those around them as is clearly the case here. I am praying and will continue to pray for you and your daughter and for the repose of your husband’s soul. One stroke is awful, I can’t imagine how much three altered your husbands thinking and that would lead him to do that.

Please stay strong, and find a clergy member, friend or counselor to help you and your daughter thru this.
