To: Alberta's Child

The US military does nothing on it own, so clearly the problem lies with the administration ( as always). Change the admin- change the way the federal government in total operates, that simple. Don’t become a hopeless hater because the current admins have knocked over the bucket.

Yet, I too agree that there eventually comes a breaking point; a deliberate reading of the founding documents establishes clearly the right of the people to determine things when the prior means established have failed, but that is a very serious issue. We all (either tacitly or implicitly) swear allegiance to the US Constitution, never an officer of any branch of the government.

1. Can you name a single instance where a destructive social engineering policy implemented by one administration in the U.S. military was overturned by another one?

2. If you read the Constitution, you'll see that even the basic notion of a large standing military has no place in this free nation. If I were to enlist in the military and my first assignment was anything other than a post on the Mexican border to protect this country from an ongoing foreign invasion, then I'd say my military service is a pointless waste of time and energy.
