For decades, DARPA, the secretive research arm of the Department of Defense, has dreamed of turning soldiers into cyborgs. And now it’s finally happening. The agency has funded projects that involve implanting chips into soldiers’ brains that they hope will enhance performance on the battlefield and repair traumatized brains once the fog of war has lifted.

This isn’t idiotic at all. A chip implanted adjacent to the motor cortex could potentially drive prosthetic limbs to grasp and pull or stand and walk. We already see the early success of chips implanted against the sensory visual cortex that interact with external cameras and give a blind person rudimentary vision.
Could be as bad as Jade Helm.
A lot of good prophetic teachers think the “mark” will actually change DNA in people and that is the underlying cause that whomever takes the mark cannot be saved.
If you read what the Transhumanists want to do, it delves into that very realm of modifying DNA to make ‘super-humans’ capable of all kinds of things. This chip could be a move in that direction, if not the actual device itself.
