How about an updated song, “I Wish the Ragheads Loved their Children, Too”. They even brag about how they have babies just so they can give them to fight and die in jihad.

Idiot. Raising a daughter and thinking a 19 year old doesn’t have feelings for her boyfriend. That’s the human way? An impulse to abandon her and distance yourself from her? That’s the human way? 19 year olds with normal feelings makes you furious and think of metaphorical strangling.
I do know about daughters. And I know men who love to show how tough they are, acting like A-holes, using fear to intimidate boyfriends, and being basically unfit to raise daughters.

Bailing her out of jail, and going on a long drive somewhere with just her, or a few long walks with her. Maybe guiding her with a fathers love. Maybe treating her the way Jesus treated a stranger to him woman about to be stoned.
Maybe yelling her about some mistakes you made in the past, and getting her on a better track. Asking to meet this boyfriend.

Oddly, there are not many children in the new testament. The story and message is very different.
Yes, Jesus did save a prostitute from stoning. I do not remember him buying or stealing condoms for her, nor did he encourage her to continue in her ways, or suggest that she run her business out of her father’s house. I believe he said, “GO FORTH AND SIN NO MORE.” Sin no more, my friend.
The new testament does not command us to condone sin or even turn a blind eye. It does not even say for us to be non-judgmental (Judge not lest ye be judged is a very different thing.). This is the argument the new pope is using and all the freaks that suggest the church accept homosexuals, women priests, and out of wedlock couples as members. The new Christian tends to believe that faith is all that is necessary, that one may sin, as long as they feel sufficient guilt and repent before death. Sorry, but that is not how it works. We are told to be Christ-like, and if I am not mistaken, he was without sin.

The sad irony is that the great ancient Indus civilisation came from what is now that country. The BBC has just run a fascinating series on that civilisation and that Pakistan has some of the most important and greatest ancient temples and monuments in the world.
