It would not be unusual for somebody obsessed with the IRA to call themselves a republican. The reason being, the IRA calls itself republican, thus the R between the I and A. In the context of Northern Ireland there are four political categories. Unionist (peaceful supporters of the UK), Nationalist (peaceful supporters of Irish unification), Loyalist (supporter of Protestant paramilitaries), and Republican (supporter of the IRA, or other splinter groups).

I just read up on Archive.org. The “Saved 6 times on October 2, 2015” means that Archive.org took 6 snap shots. Each snapshot looks the same. I don’ think this indicates that the page was edited and saved.

What does make a difference is that it looks like it has been edited multiple times today.

I have never used the wayback machine myself. I have seen the results from others efforts many times. So I am probably the wrong person to ask for details about how it works. The way I understand it, the user would have had to access the site, not just any old joe. But I do not know for sure. The entire point of the wayback machine seems pointless otherwise. A hacker or a forger could act in place of the owner/user and trigger wayback archiving. But find an expert to tell you for sure.

I do not find the info logical. So it is easy for me to believe it was doctored. Regardless, it is an illogical mix of things.

Valid questions. I have never even heard of that dating site. I suppose if his myspace account was setup a long time ago then maybe..but that weird dating site? Yet none of the regular places you listed.
