Obama warns Russia's Putin of 'quagmire' in Syria

U.S. President Barack Obama warned Russia on Friday that its bombing campaign against Syrian rebels will suck Moscow into a "quagmire," after a third straight day of air raids in support of President Bashar al-Assad.
At a White House news conference, Obama frequently assailed Russian President Vladimir Putin, who he accused of acting out of a position of weakness to defend a crumbling, authoritarian ally.

He also said today that Putin bombing ISIS will only make ISIS stronger. My question is that if he feels like that then we have not been bombing ISIS and letting them kill and behead people.
So it seems he has been bombing Assad forces and we have been in yet another undeclared war of Obama;s the Nobel peace winner.

Obama is caught in a time-warp from the 60s. Wars are only quagmires if you have an enemedia that constantly overplays the negative and downplays the successes, making the country think that the war will never end and giving hope to the enemy. Also helps if you have an opposition that works along with the enemedia.
Putin doesn't have to deal with either of those things. He can kick ass in the middle east and all the papers will print is accolades.
