Second, the government has no such authority. Doing so would be an act of war against the American people.

Background checks on private sales would not have stopped the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary school. Crazy Adam Lanza murdered his mother and stole her legally purchased firearms. SHE had a background check.
Also, from what I heard, the punk wanted to shoot up the high school, but didn’t because he saw a police car parked in front of the high school.
The punk in Oregon also had a background check. So did the idiot in Charleston.
Of course, facts never matter to a fascist gun-grabber like Hitlery.
