HAIFA, Israel – After Israel complained for years that it was surrounded by oil-rich states but didn’t have a drop within its own borders, it appears there’s a big-time turnaround with the announcement Wednesday that massive oil reserves have been located in the Golan Heights,close to the country’s border with Syria.

Just speculation. And I use the term Biblical scholar in reference to my wife very loosely. However, she is very versed (pun intended). She know more than most pastors and priests.

And following this line of thought, if true, where is the United States in prophecy? Not mentioned at all.

just out of curiosity....this is 2015 and someone has just now discovered oil in Israel??????...they are located on top of more oil than anyone will ever need.....there is now technology to allow you to angle your drilling thingys to get oil from under the fence....where have they been????????

I'm sure that's what Israel believes, but I doubt very much that Syria believes the same thing. That is why I believe that this discovery of oil has the possibility of starting a war.

Israel can very easily defend itself from Syria, but what about Russia? And the way things look, probably Iran.

The discovery of this oil in the Golan Heights is IMHO, a VERY bad thing for everyone!
