My Dad loved Johnny Horton and had this album, which I now possess.
Great song and great John Wayne vehicle, an entertaining and hilarious movie!

ROCKUMENTARY: OCTOBER 10, 1960
#7: Elvis Presley: Its Now or Never
This is a recycling of the Italian popular song O Sole mio. It started as a Tony Martin single in 1949 titled Theres No Tomorrow. Elvis heard it while stationed in Germany, and he passed it on to his music publisher, who came up with some fellows who wrote a whole new set of lyrics. It was one of his biggest hits.

#62: The Shirelles: Tonights the Night
Flo Greenberg of Scepter Records teamed producer Luther Dixon with a girl group from Passaic (NJ), and this began a string of hits. They had three good years before disappearing. Dixon and lead singer Shirley Owens wrote this tune about the thoughts of a girl about to lose her virginity. Welcome to the Sixties!

It is, but of course I only uploaded about 20...enough to do an evening of tuneage. :)
Plus, I don’t have all his songs...I would use up all my hard drive space. LOL!
