One has to suspect intent because, starting around 1905, John Dewey and his progressives laid out a blueprint for dumbing down the schools as a way to turn the US into a socialist country.
The basic strategy is to remove facts and knowledge from the classroom, using whatever pretext is handy. The point is to keep the kids engaged in empty discussions, empty projects, empty testing. At the end of each school year, astonishingly enough, many students know hardly more than at the beginning of the school year. Samuel Blumenfeld, in a book published just before his death earlier this year, concluded: “K-12 education is a criminal enterprise from top to bottom.” I believe everyone should be fighting back. In the 70s the educrats were testing a way to inculcate socialist education, but they were going to have to sneak it in because lots of parents knew when their kids were being messed with. What they really worked on was a way to remove Christian morality from the children.
So, they developed a “character” education program which is critical thinking skills intended to strip all moral attitudes from the children that they have learned from their parents.
I learned about this in 1984 when I did research on a particular program that was planned for the school my children were going to attend.
At that time I took my information to a wise friend who happened to be a priest. He looked over my information and said to me, “You know, you could have five children go through this program and four of them would end up with some quirks - but that fifth one ...” and he then he just shook his head.
The majority of children in our country have been through this type of “critical thinking skills” program, because they are in every public school system. They started out only in the inner city schools where they tested all the tricks needed to turn kids the way they wanted them to go. The inner city single moms had no idea they were being had and did not kick up a fuss. All this was figured out before it went to the suburban schools.

One of the people responsible for this transformation in our schools is none other than Bill Ayers who worked with the Chicago Annenberg Challenge where millions of dollars were spent for its implementation.
Ayers likes to crow about its success. He can smile while that “fifth one” takes his guns into a school and shoots up his classmates.
All this was planned to make our children ready for the marxist paradise.

So true. IT IS ALL INTENTIONAL!!!!! COMMON CORE IS THE TOTALITARIAN control of every single mind in the World. (UN construct).
ALL children put into this system will be conditioned to be dependent-—they will have their Natural Instincts destroyed-—replaced by an artificially invisible prison-—where they will be incapable of “thinking outside the box”.
Individualism is the target (destroy all Western Civ which created the US Constitution). Collective “minds” will be all that is left after this “group think” indoctrination system of peer pressure (herd control) (one allowed way to think) is the goal. Fearing to think differently from the crowd—or authority figure is ingrained.
Christianity is what created Individualism and Modern Science and the Age of Reason. That is why that Worldview is being ERASED and BANNED from the public square and schools as ALL OTHER FAITHS are forced into the Mindset of the child-—like satanism (sodomy, bestiality (now promoted in our military and “Just” Laws LOL) and paganism (sodomy/polygamy) and islam (sodomy, bestiality, polygamy, idolatry).
Wisdom is being able to discern Good and Evil (Cicero). Wisdom (the Bible) was removed in the 60s intentionally to destroy ALL WISDOM and normalize demeaning and mocking of Jesus-—to destroy the possibility of having a Christian Worldview-—be critical thinkers/Logical/Rational. Without Objective Truth/God, there is no Truth—just moral relativism and many truths, even if they contradict each other (the Irrationality of Eastern Mysticism (religions) where the Age of Reason could NEVER be possible).
This Prussian system was based on Fichte and Wundt psychology:
Fichte 1810: “Education should aim at destroying free will so that after pupils are thus schooled they will be incapable throughout the rest of their lives of thinking or acting otherwise than as their school masters would have wished ... The social psychologist of the future will have a number of classes of school children on whom they will try different methods of producing an unshakable conviction that snow is black. When the technique has been perfected, every government that has been in charge of education for more than one generation will be able to control its subjects securely without the need of armies or policemen.”
The idiocracy gets what it deserves. Too bad we have to suffer along with the madness. But we are far outnumbered folks. It’s over for America.
In ‘diversity class’ we were required to tell the room what our culture was . . . German, Mexican, Italian, whatever.

In the early days of this country I’m sure just teaching English was a major role as well; we have no official language because back then a large number of people were German (the largest minority), and it was felt that having English as the official language might dissuade some of them from joining the fight against England (especially considering they had a German-speaking king).
At this point it is primarily daycare (all the way through high school); if your children aren’t in honors-level classes they are learning little - and if they are they are receiving what we would describe as an average education 30 years ago. The other kids are just written off...
I don’t think we are outnumbered yet. The perceptions are always controlled by the Leftists since they control the MSM——but with numerous small towns/schools, yet, and many rational teachers who have navigated through much of the junk in curricula——we should never give up!!!!
We should just always spread the Truth with Love, and the internet makes it so simple at the moment. Truth will set us Free. The American Revolution started with only a few great men and Freedom is never Free-—and you have to fight for it every single generation.
Even private schools are part of the problem, too.

First of all, we believe in individual liberty and freedom and these characteristics are backed up by the Bill of Rights. Secondly, we are openly critical of our leadership. Thirdly, ancestors came to the United States to flee the “cultures” that so many people love to praise — cultures of oppression and virtual slavery and poverty.
