Probably gave him immunity for testimony.

U stole my post!

I completely agree with u!

I would add that Boehner is likely only one of many that are actively intimidated by “the blackmailers” each day!

When you think back about it, the Republican party became utterly impotent shortly after “Filegate” back in the Clinton years. They have -never- recovered from those days, and no one in the FBI was purged for that partisan use of a federal agency.

The whole place is an Augean stable.

Some skeptics of the federal bank reporting requirements have criticized the federal indictment, describing it as an effort to punish Hastert for alleged sexual crimes that can’t be charged now because any statutes of limitations has passed. However, courts have upheld the use of the law even in cases in which the government makes no allegation of wrongdoing besides the way the cash transactions were broken up.

I withdrew $35,000 in cash and told the banker I wanted a copy of the CTR (Form 112 (formerly Form 104) Currency Transaction Report (CTR): A CTR must be filed for each deposit, withdrawal, exchange of currency, or other payment or transfer, by, through or to a financial institution, which involves a transaction in currency of more than $10,000.) so I could prove the cash was mine. He said it was all electronic and he was not allowed to discuss it.

The problem is when you structure the transactions to avoid the reporting.

Sure, but who cares?

Prosecuting people that extort child molesters should, I think, be WAY down the list of priorities of who to prosecute.

Well, that’s pretty much an admission that the molestation accusations were true as well, isn’t it?

People don't usually pay blackmailers for something that they didn't do.

That’s what I figure.

Some are saying “well, this isn’t proof”. Maybe not in court, but it’s proof enough for me.

If we were aware of just how debauched our leaders were we’d be sick.

I am absolutely convinced that blackmail is at work each hour of each day in not only the offices of Republican office holders in the House and Senate but in the Supreme Court as well. It is the only explanation for some of the things that have gone on in the 2 Obama Administrations.

I also think they ALL know it and this is why Ryan and others turn down being speaker. They know if they take that chair that some of their secrets are going to get thrown up in their face. We have only to look at Hastert to understand that this is so.

And, the feds let him off the hook to shut him up. He probably knows enough to bring the whole house of cards down. You watch on Oct. 28. I would bet serious money he will get a relative slap on the wrist.

seriously I think the fix is in for Hillary. I think we will here in short time that they found no wrong doing, and that the focus was very narrow, that they never intended to even look at any deleted emails, and that Hillary has already been told that it will go away sooner or later, nothing to fear.

But how do they do the opposite to Hastert?

How about Mike Rogers? He basically cleared Hillary and now I think is a CNN analyst?
