You know by calling Trump a buffoon you are inviting attacks on your guy. Not a smart thing to do.
Cruz is definitely the best of the bunch.
I have heard an announcer on the local Kansas City Sports Radio twice now say Cruz was creepy. It is getting on my nerves.
Only thing is... Trump is no conservative. Ted Cruz is the only choice for me. I can’t believe anyone older than 15 could not remember Trump the Liberal. He is a flip flopper on the Kerry/Romney level but the people that are supporting him don’t care. They are not all conservatives in my opinion.
Cruz will make a great USSC Justice after he has served 8 years as President.

That’s what they said about some guy named Reagan. Wonder what ever happened to him.
If Cruz is going to break out it will have despite the media blackout. He can’t count on the media to help him out — and I don’t think he is. Cruz needs a groundswell and GOP voters are just ticked off enough to make that sort of strategy work.
as it’s not yet November...2015, “calling the race” for anyone else at this point is extremely silly.
The fickle population still has a teen hearthrob thing going for at least one of the other candidates and that will take a few more weeks...to wane...
I’d like to see Guiliani as Governor of NY. Attorney is only part of the man. He has leadership skills way beyond his attorney skills.
Name one of his policies you disagree with.
“Id like to see Guiliani as Governor of NY. Attorney is only part of the man. He has leadership skills way beyond his attorney skills.”
He would be a great governor, but a man who took down the Mafia would be the one to take down you know who and crew.
Now or before?
I am at work but here are a few things I was annoyed with, There have been many more but I have a day job.
I have evolved on abortion issue, like Reagan evolved. (Aug 2015)
I am now pro-life; after years of being pro-choice. (Apr 2011)
I changed my views to pro-life based on personal stories. (Apr 2011)
Pro-choice, but ban partial birth abortion. (Jul 2000)
Favors abortion rights but respects opposition. (Dec 1999)
Legalize drugs and use tax revenue to fund drug education. (Apr 2011)
Embrace globalization and international markets. (Jan 2008)
For assault weapon ban, waiting period, & background check. (Jul 2000)
A very strong person on the Second Amendment. (Jun 2015)
We must have universal health care. (Jul 2000)
Limit new immigration; focus on people already here. (Dec 1999)
Unions fight for pay; managers fight for less; consumers win. (Jul 2000)
Tax assets over $10 million, paid over 10 years. (Nov 1999)
Previously supported wealth tax; now supports Bush tax cuts. (Apr 2011One-time 14.25% tax on wealth, to erase national debt. (Nov 1999)
You are so right about Senator Cruz. Cruz is the most conservative and best one in the race.
Go Cruz.
Yup. Nate Silver just proved how clueless he is, as well as confirming what most of us suspected: He is a far left liberal and a strong supporter of the Democrats. This is no unbiased pollster/prognosticator.
You pretty much nailed it.
“Ted Cruz will make a great AG”
That’s pretty much where I’m at. Ted was not polling well before Trump got in the race and he’s not polling well now. I just don’t see a path the nomination for him and definitely not in a general election.
Absent an alien abduction Trump will be the GOP nominee and I predict if that happens the next President. Surely he must be thinking of Ted Cruz for VP or AG.
How do you expect Cruz to break out when Trump and Carson have 60% of the GOP vote?
One major problem with your line of thinking is that Ted Cruz is not the second choice of Trump supporters. Carson is. Ted Cruz is not the second choice of Carson supporters. Trump is. I’m just not seeing a path forward for Cuz to the nomination.
History is your friend my friend. Let's just step back to this time in 2007. Giuliani was polling at 38% nationally, followed by Fred Thompson at 18%. Between Giuliani and Thompson, they had 56% of the vote sewn up. John McCain was nowhere to be seen. Who ended up winning? McCain. How many states did Giuliani or Thompson win? Exactly ZERO.
