That morning’s “presidential daily brief” — the top-secret document prepared by America’s intelligence agencies — featured the now-infamous heading: “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” A few weeks later, on 9/11, Al Qaeda accomplished that goal.If Bush had really been so concerned about our security, he would have ordered the State Department and related agencies to check up on the activities of recent Muslim visitors from suspect Middle Eastern nations.In the aftermath of 9/11, Bush officials attempted to deflect criticismthat they had ignored C.I.A. warnings by saying they had not been told when and where the attack would occur. That is true, as far as it goes, but it misses the point. Throughout that summer, there were events that might have exposed the plans, had the government been on high alert. Indeed, even as the Aug. 6 brief was being prepared, Mohamed al-Kahtani, a Saudi believed to have been assigned a role in the 9/11 attacks, was stopped at an airport in Orlando, Fla., by a suspicious customs agent and sent back overseas on Aug. 4. Two weeks later, another co-conspirator, Zacarias Moussaoui, was arrested on immigration charges in Minnesota after arousing suspicions at a flight school. But the dots were not connected, and Washington did not react.
According to the article quoted above, the warnings actually had started coming as early as May 1st, so Bush had time to react.

Prior to 9-11 anyone, President included, that would have announced a threat from Bin Laden would have been met with Chicken Little criticism. Isn’t hindsight just a wonderful thing?
Everyone seems to be forgetting the Clintoon put policy into effect that prohibited law enforcement agencies from communicating with each other leading into the attack. No federal agency could share info with any other. While it is technically correct, it is a disingenuous statement. Clintoon was mostly responsible.
And remember how Bush disgraced us all by taking his shoes off in a D.C. Muslim Brotherhood mosque to declare Islam the "religion of peace" while the fires still smouldered at Ground Zero? Can you IMAGINE the commie FDR taking his shoes off in a Shinto shrine after Pearl Harbor.
Remember how he responded to 8 of the hijackers being here on expired visas by doing absolutely nothing to crack down on visa overstayers or mandate cities check their immigration status when stopped (as Atta and others were for speeding with expired licenses), and then tried to push through a massive amnesty bill?
Bush is a detestable human being. His family is a group of traitors, Arab stooges, and new world order agents. His disgusting grandfather championed Hitler. I have absolutely no problem barring the entire family from public office (along with the vile Clintons) forever.

Im not defending Trump or his big mouth but thats what happened. Trump is his own worst enemy. He forces his followers to explain his comments and he makes supporters look elsewhere.

Mr. Bush had to stand in front of America after 9/11 and President Obama had to do the
same after the school shootings at Sandy Hook.
“Help us understand who Donald Trump is as a man - I need to know that you will make us

How is this line of thought any different from Obama supporters blaming GWB for everything?
He did not BLAME him. He just stated a fact that is contrary to what JEB tries to say that GW protected us, period. GW reacted to the attack but was not proactive is focusing on the long list of occurrences and threats beforehand that came along since Beirut over all of the administrations since that time. GW’s open borders stance with Vicente Fox and never taking any action to actually enforce the immigration laws is a fact as well, but most don’t want to bring that back up now do they?
If this doesn’t prove Trump is really a Democrat in disguise, I don’t know what does. All his talking points come straight out of the DNC handbook, whether he’s criticizing Carson or Walker or even that other Trump-like RINO Rubio w/ his water bottle.
9/11 is the one thing Bush got right.
Jeb stated that George Bush kept America safe. Trump pointed out the FACT that 9/11 happened on his watch. No where in the statement Trump made assigns blame to Bush BUT it does show Jeb lied. Over 500 MORE Americans died on 9/11 than did during the Pearl Harbor attack. And Bush was President at the time. So the statement that GW Bush kept America safe during his term in office is not true.
The security agencies absolutely KNEW what was going to happen, of this I have no doubt. Just like now when they tell us it is impossible to build a fence to keep out illegals, they are totally responsible for what comes next. Add in the DELIBERATE infusion of Muslims from war torn countries, and we have the makings of a land war like Israel is fighting right here. When the power substations go down from sabotage. When the water supplies are poisoned. If and when some towel headed A.H. steps onto a school bus at an unguarded stop, with a bomb, it will be the fault of Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, and their Congressional cronies. They did worse than nothing about our true security. They encouraged the coming destruction and death.
