Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump may attract a record-breaking crowd Monday to the Civic Center of Anderson.
Organizers are bracing for up to 6,000 people to attend Trump’s 6 p.m. speech, which would shatter previous attendance marks for the 25-year-old facility.
To accommodate the maximum number of people, spectators will be required to stand during the event, with the exception of 100 seats behind the podium for special guests. There also will be risers for as many as 100 journalists, some of whom are coming from as far away as Europe, said Glenn Brill, Anderson County’s director of parks, recreation and tourism.
More than 20 law enforcement officers and emergency responders will be on hand, as well as at least 50 volunteers from state and county Republican Party, officials said.

Sounds a little odd to me, I’m not sure why they could not CCTV to an overflow room with seats. But this isn’t the usual Trump presentation either.

Anderson is a terrible place to live. Greenville County next door is the best place in the country to live. Don’t tell anyone.

I knew high school gyms that were set up like this, with inside bleachers that could be rolled out, or pushed back to the wall.
