Be careful for what you wish for. Biden could be a better candidate than Hillary. And he will have the entire Obama fraud machine behind him.
It really only comes down to is whether or not he wants to run. Doesn’t matter if how Hillary performs in debates or congressional testimony. He has a good shot at the nomination regardless. Now, on the other hand, if Hillary is indicted he has no choice but to run. The party would be toast without him. Interesting to watch.
I agree, Biden probably would be the toughest of the Rats to beat. Underestimate him at your peril. Paul Ryan did, and Biden ate his lunch.

Exactly. I’d rather see Hillary as the candidate. Biden will come off as Joe six-pack and Trump might lose his Reagan Democratic support. Indeed - be careful what you wish for. Hillary is toxic right now - Biden could very well take the nomination - however, who in the he** wants another 4 years of obama?
Once Biden used his final debate closing statement for a tearful tribute to his son “whose dying wish was for me to run and save the country he fought for”, it would pretty much be over.
And, don’t think for one moment that he wouldn’t use this to his advantage.
