It started about the time the Clinton’s were in the WH. Every evening a group mainly women, would meet chat politics , famuky, recipes. Dad called it the back yard fence. —America had a big back yard. Pictures were posted of W and family every night. It lost steam when O got the nomination

There was also an article that the RNC cancelled the NBC debate in February because of how badly this debate by CNBC - their affiliate- was handled.
