“Kind of like your governor’s election last time - the LIEbertarian was a paid stalking horse to siphon votes away from McAuliffe’s opponent.”
And the Republican Governor’s Conference who purposefully did as little as possible in order to torpedo Cuccinelli.

I’m in VA and probably won’t even vote. I have no idea who is running for what. In cases like this, voting only encourages the bastards.

The local Republican slate is outstanding this time. I voted straight GOP from top to bottom following the GOP sample ballot. Let's hope we can keep Richmond from the gun-grabbers and tax-hikers, and change the direction of the Fairfax County School Board who have let boys into the girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms.

Voted.
Western (!) Loudoun County.
Brisk turnout at lunch time. Surprising, actually.
PS : I’m a Hokie dad. I was at the Duke game. Excellent! (’Cept for one detail)

Western Loudoun is fairly conservative so here’s hoping we hold Richmond! Let’s Go Hokies (with the new coach)!

I voted a little after noon today in western Fairfax County. There were no lines, but nearly 700 votes by then. That’s moderate and will probably be above 25%. Usually high turnout is bad around here, but I don’t know about today.

I had to vote for a Democrat and a little part of me died today. How come?
To: Charles H. (The_r0nin)
The Republican was unstable and we had worked with the Democrat. It was a School Board race.

Yeah. We’ve got a board of supervisors guy here that I had to vote against. It doesn’t matter what party they “support” (despite the fact that the BoS here is a “non-partisan” race) if they are a total jerk. If I can’t trust you, I’m voting you out...

Same here in eastern Fairfax County (Lee district). Just voted after getting home from work.

Balderdash. Lousy politicians are selected by the uniparty and given legitimacy by those who lack the fortitude to stay home.

Good on ya. Both senate and house seat contested in my distict. But that’s “contested” in the sense that uniparty shills are squabbling over who gets to screw us.
I made some homebrew instead.

One interesting set of races is the BoS in Powhatan county (middle Virginia for the VA challenged.) VCDL PAC was pushing hard for a slate of candidates who were planning to implement no cost concealed handgun permits issued on the spot.
Clever way to get de facto Constitutional Carry in spite of McAwful and the sockpuppet GA.

For VA election watchers, keep in mind that most rural areas (conservative) report early and the Peopleâs Republic of Fairfax reports late. But of course! The Punk's (our governor) workers in Fairfax need to know which ballots, and how many, to pull out of the trunk.
