Depends on which suburbs. Sharpstown, yes. Alief, no. Bellaire is in ‘town’ but a separate city too.

I know some homosexuals, and they are really disgusted by the hatred and animosity which the LGBT groups have been towards Christian business owners and all these BS laws, like HOMO (I mean HERO)!

I told them, the LGBT leaders are as rabid as your everyday feminazi and once they get a sliver of opening, they are going to burst through the door like gang-busters! And here we are!

The disgust they seem to voice might also be for show, dunno. Kind of like the way moderate Muslims talk about devoutly jihadist ones... they disagree, for now, but oh they understand....

"approximately 130,000 city voters cast ballots, more than doubling pre-election day turnout in Houston's last open-seat mayor's race six years ago"

So this is the key to drive turnout next year folks ...

They play games with the city limits to ensure a liberal majority. In this case, it bit them because the Amish community voted heavily against HERO. They suspected this was going to happen when polls a few days before the election had 18% saying they were “undecided”. “undecided” translates to not wanting to be browbeat for voting the “wrong” way on something.

If you add the 5% padding liberals normally get in polls plus the 18%, you come very close to the margin that HERO is losing by.

Only inside the Houston city limits which are intentionally drawn to exclude conservative pockets of voters.

Houston’s landmass is far and wide. From up near Tomball to down near Clearlake. However there are a lot of small incorporated cities with their own local governments surrounded on all sides by “Houston”.

Suburbs is an arbitrary distinction to me. What was once ‘outlying’ territory has since been swallowed up and ‘centered’ by further expansion and ‘new’ outlying suburbs, and so on, and so on.

Are the Heights suburbs? Montrose? Garden Oaks? Sharpstown? Spring-Branch?

Black pastors were against it and the homofascist mayor demanded to see their sermons.

And, hopefully, somewhere there is a special high-velocity “implant” being readied to take care of such a judge.

Someone will then “erase” the judge.

I predict that - very soon - these “judges” will suddenly begin “disappearing” ... Once several of them find new life in Fort Marcy Park, the rest will rediscover the Constitution ... since they are, for the most part, cowards.

Yup, I live in Houston but outside the city limits... so I get to observe but not vote.

If people wanna be gay then so be it. How about everyone practice their sexual deeds behind closed doors and stop trying to overturn common sense laws in society. God is the ultimate Judge of us all. All XY chromosomes to the mens rooms and all XX to the womens rooms. Human Physiology science 101 ay?

Sorry, I do not know enough of the particulars about this & should not have answered. When friends ask for voting info, I direct them to the harrisvotes (for Harris County) website. It has a feature that will provide a customized - to their exact street address - sample ballot that will let them know what offices / issues they can vote on.

Well, of course business supports sodomy and sodomites!

The American business culture no longer cares about ethics, morals, or faith - all they care about is $$$. That is their god, and all else takes a distant back seat.

Most CEOs today would sell their own mothers into slavery if it got them a wider profit margin, or an invite to all the right “cock & tail” parties. many have built a shrine to the PC god of diversity.

Morality and ethics are for losers. That’s the new standard in the American business culture.

I read a story today that even Chic-fil-e is now pandering to the sodomite crowd. In today’s toxic culture of carnality, the almighty dollar wins over Faith, family and Morals.
