I think the conservative media and most here who don't have Trump as their first choice, have defended Trump against attacks from the left.

Yes, several in the conservative media (Rush, Levin, Hannity, Breitbart, etc) have, as I said, sporadically defended Trump. I’ve just not seen the tag-team, circle the wagons all-out aligned defense of Trump, like we’ve seen with (those three talkers), like they’ve done for Carson.
Just an observation.

I pray the part of America that still supports Carson wakes. Weeks ago Carson lied to everyone’s face about his ties to the false promise herbal remedy company. Then he suspended his campaign (a slap in the face to all working class Christian families who donated to him) in order to go on a book tour for a week.
Well before the lib media started scrutinizing Carson, it was obvious he was a scam artist and a liar. I think that anyone on FR who tries to paint Carson critics as somehow “in bed” with the lib media is getting it all wrong. Some of us knew the guy was off long before the lib media started their witch hunt (which they’ll do to every frontrunner on the right).
My opinion of Carson remains unchanged. My only lament is that he ever got to the frontrunner status in the first place, because I knew once all of his lies fell apart, all of this infighting would occur.
I know what the issue was, it was some bit about a memo quoted by BOR regarding Reagan’s mental state in 1987 and his using that memo as the centerpiece of his opinion book. Maybe in his mind Will was defending the Reagan mystic, great for him to do btw, but my issue with Will goes beyond his being a defender of the Reagan image and history.
Reagan was president almost 30 years ago, today Will does nothing but tare down anyone who is not in line with the GOPe including those like Carson and Cruz. He has become an inside the beltway hack. His comment on Brett Baier’s show earlier on Friday about Carson being in appropriate by taking on O turd at the Prayer Breakfast over O care really chaffed me. Also recall the meeting in 09 wherein Krautheimer, Kristol and others dined with O turd at Will’s NW DC home. To me, Will perhaps has gone soft in the head but wishes to ride his time with Reagan for all it is worth. In short, he is an intellectual snob trying to emulate William Buckley whose dictionary he could not even carry.
Most of us here think Will is wimpy, establishment, poopy-headed, hack RINO. This is not about Will.
And I believe BOR in the book questions Reagan's mental state going back to 1981.
BOR needs to be called on the carpet for smearing Reagan. Perhaps Levin will do it best.
