Exactly! GOPe have given the media the incentive to attack the candidates. If the GOPe were half as diligent about defending the principles as they about trashing Conservatives, the media might not be so quick to join in the blood sport.

But then again, if they defended principle, they wouldn’t be GOPe.

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t remember Priebus coming out in defense of Cruz or Trump. The question then becomes is the GOPe supporting Carson?
