Cruz wanted to increase the h1-b Visa Program 500%. Trump wants to end it. Other than that the topic should be focused on Cruz's position which in my opinion is not a very good one.
From the age of 16 until the age of 23 my wife was a Buddhist nun. She comes from a family that has been Buddhist for 100’s of years. Should I have refused to look at her conversion to Christianity and focused on her past?
The same is true of Trump
Look at what he is supporting and look at what proposing now
Look at his immigration plan - what conservative better? Look at his 2nd amendment position what liberal would even propose that?,
Look at his tax plan, it is the best one on the table.
If he were president and got just those 3 things done he’d be one of the greatest conservative presidents of all time.
He was also a leader in calling out the problems with Obama’s birth certificate
He is also breaking the strangle hold of the GOP-E on candidate and moving the entire party to the right.
He is standing up to the PC speech crowd.
He may not push all your buttons but since it looks like he is the most likely candidate you’d better ask if you’d rather have him or Hitlery.
BTW I am actually a Cruz supporter but I think Trump will get the nomination

On YouTube, there are videos of Ted Cruz in the US Senate introducing an Amendment to increase H-1B visas by 500%!
And - less than a year ago, Ted Cruz told the editorial board of the Union-Ledger newspaper in New Hampshire that he would not deport any illegal immigrant who had not violated other USA laws!

While it may be true some young STEM graduates don't have the work ethic of older STEMs, that does NOT explain the numbers of 40+ age engrs. and such who cannot find employment in their fields.

This is more Trumpette fantasy. There hasn't been this much fantasy projection into a candidate by his supporters since Barack Hussein Obama. Trump's immigration policy includes modifying H-1Bs, but he has said nothing about ending them. And there's that little contradiction between Trump's web site policy which bashes Zuckerberg for wanting more H-1Bs and Trump's debate answer where he said he's all what Zuckerberg wants.
Increase prevailing wage for H-1Bs.
Requirement to hire American workers first. Too many visas, like the H-1B, have no such requirement.

I would love to think Cruz has had a metanoia, but his own words seem to work against that. The H1b program was not designed to bring techs to “generate jobs” and grow the economy. And he must know that. How could such workers do that? The program was established to allow employers in the U.S. to fill jobs with foreign workers temporarily when the could not find a qualified American
worker. Not happy with Cruz yet.
The only candidate who has Any Constitutional leanings is Cruz.. He gets things done, brings the dark ruling class and the dark corporate cronies to light.

As a country, we need H1-B visas, and we need other countries to issue OUR citizens their equivalent visas when needed as well. Let’s not be dumass hypocrites.
That, my good sir is horesehit. H1-B visas allow American and foreign companies to operate in the global economy. No question the program has been abused, especially during the lawless Obama administration. The program was never intended to replace a single American worker and it ought never do that when properly managed and administered.
Your venom against Cruz is quite strong. Had to go back pretty far in your posts to find you support Trump. That is what it looked like anyway: Trump/Spencer.

IT workers for Disney -- heck, any worker for Disney, seeing as how Disney's product is strictly entertainment -- shouldn't qualify for any H1B allowance. The problem isn't with H1B, it's with a government/politicians who let big donors/companies get away with abusing it to this extent.

I think the idea is that if a company can’t find workers, it’s going to have to downsize or go out of business. But if it finds qualified workers, it will be able to do a good service, pick up more clients and then expand. So if the H-1B worker helps that company pick up a new client, the company might need to open a new office and hire a broad range of U.S. workers to support it.
While I’ve seen a study purporting to show this effect, it was only one study, and its methodology was too dubious to believe its conclusions.
In theory, it would definitely help the economy to bring in workers to do jobs that Americans truly aren’t available to do. How often that is ever really the case, or whether that can ever truly be enforced, I’m not sure. But it definitely didn’t hurt us bringing in Albert Einstein from Germany in 1940.
Blatant dishonesty. Trump's plan doesn't merely "modify" in some minor, insignificant way. It raises wage standards and initiates an American first workers policy. Employers must choose from domestic pool before hiring.
There is no question that this is far superior to Ted Cruz.
It sounds the same as Ted Cruz. Post 14 says Cruz’ proposal would’ve raised the wage standard, the same thing Trump says. And right in this interview Cruz said he considers it a violation of H-1B to lay off American workers and replace them with foreigners. So Trump and Cruz seem to have the same reforms in mind for H-1Bs.

And also -- up until 2011, Trump donated more than a million dollars to political campaigns of both parties, almost as much to Republicans as to Democrats (since then, he's restricted it to Republicans).
If Reagan had donated equally to candidates in both parties, if Bush or Dole or Romney any other Republican politician had donated his hard-earned money equally to Democrats as to Republicans, would any conservative in his right mind even consider voting for that politician? Hell no!!!
"Oh, but Trump is a businessman and that's just the cost of doing business," right? For his own financial gain and the financial gain of his stockholders, supporting leftist tyranny was necessary and excusable??? Well, thank God the men who signed the Declaration of Independence didn't have that attitude. They risked ALL, not just their money and their property, but their lives, to create the nation that Trump now aspires to lead.
