We’ve probably had this discussion before, but Paul can stuff it as far as I am concerned.

Some nation is going to be the hegemon globally.

It will be the U. S., China, Russia, or global Islam.

Which do you prefer guiding civilization going forward.

Look at Syria right now. Russia is there because our pussy in chief didn’t have the manhood to do what needed to be done with ISIS.

You really think our staying out of the ISIS mess brought a good resolution, Russia being in the Middle-East for the first time since the 80s?

Vacuums will be filled. It’s a law of nature.

We either fill it, or someone else will.

Our withdrawel from the global stage has led China to take liberties in the Western Pacific. It only gets worse from here.

How would you like to see a day when we can’t conduct trade with nations in the Indian Ocean because it would be too dangerous?

How would you like it if war with India broke out and we couldn’t come to it’s aide?

We cannot stay home and be the world’s pacifist nation.

I posted the results of the Drudge Poll 20 minutes ado with over 317,000 voters participating.

<><><><

That would be 317,000 VOTES.

I daresay there were many fewer VOTERS.

You are right that challenger must do much better to knock off the guy in the lead and that did not happen in the debate.
This morning Carson separated himself from Trump-Cruz on immigration. We will see if that helps or hurts him in his attempt to be in the lead.

I am the rare Cruz supporter who disagrees with Cruz on immigration. Carson will be hard pressed to take votes away from Cruz-Trump. That leaves him taking votes away from Rubio-Bush-Fiorina and the undercard.

The single issue anti-illegal immigrant voters seem to be extremely emotional and not logical. As such, it will be difficult to get them to change their minds based on facts and logic.

I don't disagree with your other comments, but I would tweak this one.

I believe people focusing on anti-illegal immigrant policy, are far more receptive to changing their minds based on policy. If someone accidentally tosses out a clue that they aren't serious about sending illegals back, and getting the border secured, they change candidates.

It's the illegal immigrant supporter who won't listen to anything other than giving them the keys to the kingdom. And in their own way, you could say they are receptive to changing their support too based on this issue.

I'm not changing my goal of fixing illegal immigration with return to home country.

Perhaps that's what you mean, but isn't that the law and isn't that reasoned?

Carson, Rubio and Fiorina all auditioned last night for VP. It is clear that it is going to be Trump or Cruz.

Now it is up to the RNC to decide which one they hate less.

1. I like how Carly mentioned all the people she had hired. She didn’t mention how many thousands of employees’ lives she ruined when she destroyed their companies.

2. Murdoch needs to get over the good relationship between the Trumps and his ex-wife. He needs to move on and think about what is best for his network. Ordering his minions to talk up Rubio after the debate was childish.

‘Trump did not stand out’

I don't agree with that statement but Trump doesn't need to stand out anymore. It's up to someone else to try to dethrone him. No-one even came close last night.

Wrong. It is not up to the RNC. It is up to the Cruz-Trump supporters to get pragmatic and focus on how delegates to the National Convention are chosen.

For example, in some states (eg IL) there are two primaries. One is a beauty contest for the candidates. A totally second primary on the same day chooses delegates.

Name recognition of the delegate wannabe and effective ground game to get your neighbors watching the ball game to vote for your delegate are what win.

Are we recruiting a non-establishment Miss America or a non-establishment high profile athlete or rock star to be one of our delegates? Or are we going to be totally unprepared and depend on the beauty contest?

No. It is not the law that illegal immigrants be returned to their home country. There is no such law.

Illegal immigrants who are not accused of any other offense are told to get their papers in order. That’s all. I know. I’ve been personally involved in initiating or assisting in the deportation of more illegals than most freepers (as well as blocking deportations when I thought the charges were bogus). And I’ve been involved in the immigration issue since high school in the 50s and the debates over Ike’s actions Trump described.

You may wish to claim you know it all, but I’ve been watching busloads of illegals shipped south for over 50 years.

Next claim...

Only because Murdoch is pro-amnesty.

Trump also reminded us that it is unfair to those waiting in line. He had some outstanding points!

And while Trump did not stand out as everyone complains, a poll released today says 49% of republicans and independents view Trump as most qualified to deal with immigration problems.

Not one candidate can even touch Trump’s numbers.

But of course he is not standing out.

The majority of hallowed voters once believed that OBAMA could best handle all America’s issues. So what are you saying? lol

I hope you are right. Cruz and Trump have the best ground games so far. Cruz is probably the smartest out there with how he set up his organization. I just hope the Establishment doesn’t do anything funny which will prevent either from winning the nomination.

If you are comparing Trump to Obama, let’s not forget that Trump knows how to create value in reality as reflected in the billions he has made.

Obama accomplished nothing except he knows how to lie like Hillary to get elected.
