We can.

I’m a parent with two kids who graduated college in 2013 and 2014. My other two kids are currently a sophomore in college in the BSN major and a high school senior.

I’m a certified teacher in middle school and high school social studies and math. I currently teach, part time, high school algebra to accelerated 8th graders and 7th grade pre algebra to accelerated 7th graders.

The other half of my day is as an aide to k-8. Basically, special ed or basic skills.

The curriculum has changed and it’s political. Not in Conservative or Constitutionalists’ favor. I wonder why Conservatives and Constitutionalists have abandoned our education system (public and private). Sure it’s great to do your own thing, but don’t wonder why our education system sucks, since it was left to those who get to promote their agenda.

This isn’t rocket science, or calculus. This is common sense or should be.

What is being taught to k-8 students, should shock all of us, even those who don’t send their kids to the public and private schools. I know those people don’t care since they opted out but that really doesn’t help their kids either. I’m not talking about the fake sex ed crap but the history, language arts, science, math, etc. where the liberal/communist agenda is in full swing. It permeates every content area. The curriculum has changed, the testing has changed, and it’s going to affect our society moreso than it already has but people don’t care...we have so dumbed down our curriculum that even honors classes are basic.

Then, the early ed years...k-5...most time spent on character development...and basic skills (because parents aren’t interacting or teaching their kids basics).

Where’s the opposition? They certainly aren’t in the schools.
