Shots have been fired. Police heavily armed, going from room to room, guests told to stay in their rooms.
PARIS, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Police have evacuated the area around the Paris Eiffel tower and the surrounding Champ de Mars park, a Reuters witness saw on Saturday. Heavy police presence was seen at the Pullman Hotel on Avenue de Suffren near the Eiffel tower, another eyewitness, who lives along Champ de Mars told Reuters. He declined to be identified. French police say there is an ongoing police intervention at the Pullman hotel in Paris. But they have denied reports on social media that shots were fired.

Yes, false alarm — but police responded in full force, emergency vehicles came. One photo of the bar downstairs with glasses broken all over the floor from the people rushing to escape. Things are different today. Very sad just to see that yes, TERROR is working.

This is not the time for some computer nerd to go ‘Swatting’ one of their enemies. Swatting = Sending police over to a strangers home based on a fake emergency, or Phoning in a fake order of say, 200 pepperoni pizzas deep dish, to be delivered to your next door neighbor. Done just for a giggle.

What’s really scaring me .. there are people (I guess I shouldn’t name names), who could be watching all the police power being implemented .. and realize that after some sort of attack .. that sort of police power; shutting down the cities; closing the border; declaring an emergency (or martial law), seems to have some appeal .. that is if you lust for taking over control of a country ..??

We saw it after the Boston Bombing. That was just for two guys. Now, take 8000 military-age men, disperse them across 180 population centers, then send up a signal that say that it’s Go-time for some “SJS” and watch martial law take over. Then, some pissed-off Americans decide that they aren’t going to take that crap (Boston was a safe venue for the trial run) and then the cops start shooting Americans for just refusing the lick the boot.
