GREENSBORO, NC –Greensboro police are asking residents to show their commitment to safety by signing a Pledge of Non-violence on Saturday.
Police said that anyone 18 years or older can anonymously turn in as many guns as they want at this event.

To ensure all guns are turned in properly, I’ve provided the good folks in Greensboro my personal address.

I was going go shoot my FAL but I lost it in the boating accident just before taking the rest of them to the Greensboro buyback.
I decided to turn mine in too. I lost the rubber stopper in the back, and the water kept running out.
But seriously...to the Greensboro PD: Knock off the feel good bull$hit and do your freaking job. Patrol the streets and bust the real bad guys.
Do they have a small band playing patriotic and classical music to calm them as they enter the boxcars to go to their destiny? As a reward for turning in their guns do they get to wear a star on their shirts or armbands?
Are they all related to Hansel and Gretel? Will the wicked witch stuff them into the oven after they disarm themselves?
Inquiring minds need to know!
Plus, they want the 14 and 15 year old gangbangers, and anyone under 18, to keep their weapons.....
