The band performed at the Barby Club in Tel Aviv, Israel on July 12, 2015 in spite of pressure from anti-Israeli Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) activists. Roger Waters sent a letter to the band which reportedly demanded that they boycott Israel. Hughes publicly commented on Waters’ letter at the Tel Aviv concert, saying “I would never boycott a place like this ... You know what I wrote back? Two words ... Never waste your time worrying about what an asshole thinks about you.†Hughes repeated the obvious two-word profanity to the cheering crowd in Tel Aviv. During the show he said, “I’ve never felt more at home in my life.â€[19]

We were arming them too. We were arming rebels that didn’t exist. Remember that we spent over $500,000,000.00 training six rebels? The good rebels never existed. It was terrorists that we were arming.

Like it or not, Obama is just as much to blame as well and I am right on this. Oh yes, absolutely. I should have been clearer in my last post. I won't let Bush off the hook. But Obama took a bad situation and made it much, much worse.

I blame Jimmy Carter. That perspective has merit. Carter toppled the Shah. Iran turned from an ally to an extremist islamic state, almost overnight.
