Why Hillary Won't Be Indicted

The FBI doesn’t indict, they can only recommend charges be brought.

What would the administration do if the F.B.I. Director held a public press conference to announce they have accumulated a significant amount of evidence showing that Hillary has violated a number of statutes governing the national security, and that an indictment by the Justice Department is strongly recommended. How does the administration spin that one? How does Hillary's campaign spin it?

And the Democrats have no bench. If Hillary is taken out (of the game, that is), the Democrats have no one.

That's certainly true. OTOH, if Hillary goes down for the count, I could imagine a President Obama stepping in to say, "well, there's no democrat candidate, so I'll just use this as a pretext to stick around a while longer."

If Obama's DOJ pulls the trigger on Hillary, maybe Obama doesn't instantly pardon her. Maybe he starts advocating for the repeal of Amendment XXII instead.

I wouldn't put anything past this guy.
