There's been a lot of arrant nonsense spoken since the Paris attacks, but Margaret Carlson's might just take the cake . . .
On today's Morning Joe, Bloomberg columnist Carlson suggested that because the US is better than Europe at assimilation, potential terrorists sneaking into our country might not carry out their plots. Said Carlson: "maybe they become Americanized, maybe the anger goes away. Maybe what they snuck in to do they're not going to do because we do have an acceptance of these people." Great point, Margaret. If only we'd had a little longer to hug it out with the 9/11 terrorists.

A nice kid who comes from a good family and went on to a finance career in New York, posted an appallingly stupid article like this on Facebook yesterday. It was headlined that there hasn't been a single terrorist incident committed by a refugee admitted to America since 9-11-2001. Of course, all those qualifiers exclude the Syrian refugees who just pulled off the carnage in Paris, the Bosnian refugees who set the Boston Marathon bombs and shot up the shopping center in Salt Lake City (because they were here before 9-11), those pulling off terrorist attacks while here on legal visas or visa over stayers because they weren't admitted as refugees.
That's just the type of mental gymnastics the PC crowd does.
The sheer stupidity is literally breathtaking. How can someone that clueless feed and clothe themselves without assistance? That is a serious question, not a cheap shot. Does she go home every evening to an assisted living facility?
I take the fact that people this utterly disconnected from reality have not (yet) killed or seriously injured themselves with common every day household items as a sign of an active and benevolent God. Though I admit to being somewhat baffled by his plan. How can *not* removing these fools from our midst be seen as a kindness?
What is this I have heard about pigs achieving sustained flight?
Of course, terrorists will give up their wicked ways and become model American citizens, just give them a chance, why didn’t anybody think of this sooner?
They get jobs, settle down, acquire a mortgage and car payments, then certainly they won’t carry out the plots they hatched in their youthful exuberance.
They’re asking us to bet our lives on this hopey changey spin. Even Obama’s apologists don’t believe him when he says he can weed the terrorists out of the refugees.
The Jihadis say they are targeting Washington, DC next. Maybe this lady will get a personal education on assimilation of terrorists.
The “transition” is not going well.
I must say that part of me admires the relentless determination of the one-worlders desire to destroy us. They will stop at nothing.
Imagine; a group of people who openly support partial birth abortion and the sale of baby body parts for profit claiming the moral high ground when it comes to the care of children.
They don't have a leg to stand on...but they claim it...and those it the Western World and media let them.
This is no longer a back-door invasion of our enemies under the guise of “compassion”...this is an all out frontal assault on all of us.
We must not let the bastards and their socialist allies win.
