After issuing a promise to carry out an attack on Washington D.C., ISIS has said in a new video message they will deploy a suicide bomber to New York City's Times Square.
New York City officials, including Mayor Bill DeBlasio and NYPD Chief Bill Bratton, held a press conference late last night to encourage New Yorkers to remain aware of their surroundings, but not to change their daily habits.
"We cannot be intimidated, and that's what terrorists seek to do. They seek to create fear. They seek to intimidate. We will not be intimidated, and we will not live in fear," Bratton said.
"We are aware of the newly-released ISIS video that mentions Times Square. While some of the video footage is not new, the video reaffirms the message that New York City remains a top terrorist target," the NYPD released in a statement late last night. "While there is no current or specific threat to the City at this time, we will remain at a heightened state of vigilance and will continue to work with the FBI, the Joint Terrorism Task Force and the entire intelligence community to keep the City of New York safe. In addition, we are continuing to deploy additional Critical Response Command (CRC) teams throughout the City, out of an abundance of caution."
With the upcoming Thanksgiving parade and holiday season, which includes the annual celebration of New Year's eve in Times Square, it's a popular time to be in New York City.
It has become a perverse world in which we live when the only thing that will rescue us from our stupor is an attack upon our soil.
France just suffered a pretty bad attack, and for awhile they will be all sound and fury about it. They will go through the motions of attacking "radicals" and then the effort will eventually peter out.
They will go back to sleep. They will get attacked again, and once more be roused like a hive of bees, all for a bit of fury until they return back to their slumber.
They and Us refuse to realize that the enemy is a doctrine called "ISLAM" (Submission. The word "Islam" means submission in Arabic.) and that they will never be safe unless they either "Islam" (submit) of wipe out those people trying to force them to "Islam." (submit)
We need an attack. We need an attack just like we needed Pearl Harbor. We must go to war with these bastards before the Iranians can produce their Nuclear bombs.
We are faced with a situation in which we would be better off to deal with the loss of hundreds or a few thousands of lives, rather than wait until these religious nut-jobs have Nuclear weapons, and are able to kill millions.
The only thing that will galvanize American will against "Islam" (submission) is another attack from "Islam".(Submission)

She actually DOES care what you think. That’s why she explains her behavior to you in a reply. Some people have a deep seeded need to “always be right” - even if the result is harm or death to others. It’s all about them and their world view.

I don’t care whether the person CARES what I think, but I will note for the public record that it’s abhorrent to cheerlead for an attack. You are correct, which buttresses my point that all of the terrorists are going to flock to the cities here. The liberals only care about compassion...theirs, so they’ll accommodate all of the gooners while the folks in regular America drive them out. I agree, it is awful and I think it puts the poster on the same (mental and spiritual) level as the islamofascist invaders. How could you wish your fellow countrymen to die a horrible death at the hands of Islamists? Horrible.
We should be working for the safety of the entire country while trying to convert and educate the wrong headed ones.
