If you don’t have rent support, and you don’t have a jackpot job, New York is tough. That’s why Brooklyn is coming back... Manhattan is way to pricey; Brooklyn is on its way.

I don’t know what to tell NYers.
They’ve elected a communist mayor;
what else is left for them to do?

...and yet, they choose to live there.

Hate to say it...but I don’t even want to visit there anymore. Not with the commie mayor in charge. Been there thrice in the 80’s, 90’s, and 2013. No more. Used to be a wonderful city.

If the alternative is New Jersey, stay in New York. :)

Must suck to live in New York.

That sounds odd coming from somebody who lives in Alaska.

Sorry, Brooklyn is the new Manhattan. Try Queens. If this keeps up, I’m hoping that the Bronx will come back. The Grand Concourse is do for a reverse. Most beautiful road in the city.

My son just moved back to NY and lives in Brooklyn. He said his apartment in Manhattan was $1000 when he lived there 10 years ago. Same Manhattan apartment is now $4000.

They deserve it. 85% of the city voted for 0bama. Then they elect a Communist for mayor.

Embrace the suck New Yorkers.

I would need to double my annual salary to be able to afford a one-bedroom apartment the size of our master bathroom here in Mississippi.

It simply doesn’t make economic sense to live in such a market.
