American forces made one of their most effective hits against the Islamic State on Nov. 15, when U.S. planes destroyed 116 tanker trucks used by the terrorist organization to transport the stolen oil that is its financial lifeblood.
American A-10 and C-130 warplanes targeted a group of about 300 trucks near Abu Kamal, in Syria. Given that the Islamic State is thought to have just over 1,000 trucks in its entire fleet, the group of 300 represented a huge target for U.S. planes.
At a Pentagon news conference last Wednesday, reporters wanted to know why American forces did not take out more than 116 trucks. Why not all 300, or something close to that? A U.S. official said the American attackers simply ran out of ammunition.

We need more airplanes, each with a full complement of munitions, to attack big targets in a serious war. But someone has been reducing the number of airplanes in the Air Force.

The Americans dropped leaflets to warn of the upcoming attack to prevent civilians from injury. Then, the A-10's strafed to both sides of the tankers to make sure there were no innocents. Then, they started taking out the tankers. That's why they ran out of ammo.
Not sure about the C-130's or why those particular birds ran out of ammo.

The reason the planes ran out of ammo prematurely is because Obama insisted they execute low level, live fire sraffing runs just outside the truck park to let the Jihadi we were serious when we dropped the leaflets and warned them we were going to attack in precisely 45 minutes.
Yes, Obama actually warned the enemy precisely where and when we would attack , gave Isis close to an hour to prepare for the attack, and then made our pilots execute a dangerously exposed strafing run that expended about half their ammo against the empty desert just outside truck park to make ISIS 110% certain beyond any shadow of a doubt that we were serious about following through on our threats.
All this after Hillary Clinton and President Obama supplied state of the art Stinger anti aircraft missiles to ISIS using Qatar as an intermediary.
Simply unreal.
We also know 100% for certain that President Obama is personally and directly responsible for this because only the President of the United States could order such a thing.
Providing the enemy with the precise time and place of an impending military attack and giving them a hour to prepare for the attack qualifies as espionage which provides aid and comfort to the enemy and endangers The lives of American military personnel in time of war.
If anyone other than the President did such a thing they would be arrested and be tried for espionage and treason . If convicted they would be eligible for the death penalty.
In other news our the Federal regime has stockpiled billions of rounds of ammo. Go figure.

Only 24 500 lbers? The A10 must have been lightly supplied with ammo as well. Don’t think any AC 130s were on the job - used at night mostly - they have something like 50 105 mm howitzer rounds plus tons of 30mm ammo.
Not to mention poor planning on the lower end.
The Russians gave no warning when they struck similar targets. We seem to have an USAF mil that has become not only incompetent, unable to plan, but are also wusses.
Civilians are targets of psychological opportunity, they kill ours, we kill their civilians. Chances are that the fuel truck drivers not being ISIS are slim to none - non-ISIS Sunni = dead Sunni.

A couple days ago the military admitted the Terrorist in Chief wouldn’t let the military follow through with 75% of their missions. And on this, he aided and abetted the enemy giving them 45 minutes warning. AND THEN we ran out of ammo so only took out a third of the trucks that were all nice and lined up for perfect non-moving targets.
Wake up, Congress. Find your huevos and impeach the traitor.
