...In his remarks, however, the Russian president made no reference to any immediate military steps and said his government would now “analyse” the incident, leaving open the door to de-escalation later.

"Putin’s primary goal is to save face at home," said Sam Greene, the director of the Russia Institute at King’s College London. "Expect the rhetorical bark to be much worse than the policy bite."

They may be right.

The Russians know how to get even in the shadows.

I wonder how many of Erdogan’s relatives might be travelling abroad.

The “Experts” say “Expect the rhetorical bark to be much worse than the policy bite.”

Good thing nothing ever happens “unexpectedly” for these guys.

I’m no so called “expert”, but expect Erdogan to find a horse head in his bed some morning.

I don’t think Putin’s media whore daughter would like to see that happen.

Most likely he is correct. The Russians will probably use this as leverage in negotiations with O.

This is going to be a real test of 0. If he follows his normal behavior he will per-emptively surrender. However this time he will be selling out his Islamic allies, not the USA.

Just how far does 0 cravenness extend?

It will be the Turkomen group that is bragging about shooting the pilots while they were helpless in the air that will feel that special Russian ‘touch’ ...

They also were the same people that said the Berlin Wall wouldn’t fall; and continued to say that even when the bricks started landing on them.

I sure hope not!

I don't trust any of them!

If they are not incompetent their findings are filtered by incompetents like Barak Husssein, Valerie... etc.

1. Destroy the Turk air force. Remotely. It’s not that big.
2. Stop training Turkish pilots.
3. Eject Turkey from NATO, until they restore a civilized secular leadership.
