So when Turkish aircraft violate Syrian airspace are they fair game to be shot down?

Makes it easy for Moscow to figure out who in Turkey to “shoot down”, and it won’t be an innocent F-16 pilot following orders.

This was an overt act of war. WW3 could be just over the horizon. Tempers must cool.

The turd squatting in the WH and his idiot SOS’s are responsible for destabilizing the Mideast and setting the course for WWIII. If Putin attacks Turkey, and Turkey invokes article 5 of the NATO charter, it’s game on.

This guy is not very smart... We have seen what Putin does to people he dislikes in his own country. I would suspect that the Turkish PM is about to have an accident.

In the emergency NATO meeting, NATO asked Turkey why the Russian jet wasn't escorted out of the area.

Every damn country has violations.

Turkey's allegiance is to the caliphate, not NATO. Let the barbarians protect the Sick Man of Europe.

Since a state of war does not yet exist, the intruder could have been intercepted & either escorted out of Turkish airspace or ordered to land (backed up by a warning burst which is legal).

There must have been radio contact; this is madness on the Turks’ part.

It’s funny how these talking head policy wonks on international relations say Putin is largely ineffective. Yeah, I’d like to see these people say that to Vlad’s face.
