The main reason I like Trump is because the left hates him.

Evangelicals?

Are there any Americans in this group? Because I want to know what they think as Americans, because we aren’t electing their next preacher.

Swear to Christ the same bunch that tanked the image of American Christianity with their support of those idiot televangelists, still strut around as kingmakers, willing to toss the entire election because candidate X doesn’t recite enough bible verses or know enough hymns. We end up with Romney’s and McCains because of this garbage.

We have a nation and planet on the brink, but they have bigger priorities.

How precious.

Now the feckless Evangelicals (a member of which i suppose I am) want a president that obeys God? One fifth of them VOTED FOR OBAMA.

I agree that Trump is biblically illiterate, but he is ideologically a Christianity supporter. Politically, an western bloc member. Pro American; capitalist and sovereign-nationalist.

This in contrast to Obama, who is ideologically anti Christian. Politically, an eastern bloc member. Anti American; stone cold marxist and one-worlder.

And I am sure all the Evangelicals that wont get behind Trump NEVER TOLD A LIE a day in their lives. So lily white and pure.

Oh Lord, I wonder how many of these same Evangelicals cast their vote for the Obamination because they heard on TeeVee “He’s a Christian” and “he’s a good man”

Bah - Go Donald!

I don’t like NY attitude. I do like tough talk, but in the vein of Ronald Reagan, a very nice man, who knew when to talk and when to let his actions speak for him.

Trump is not that type. He is a brash, NY jerk. In my book, all NY jerks talk tough, so talk is cheap, and trash talkers are foolish.

You Evangelicals have your orders from the GOPe now:

You are not allowed to vote for Trump! Period.

[ Personally, I’ll be voting AGAINST whatever soul-sucking, parasitic, America-hating, progressive-communist, Christian-hating, pro-muslim, pro-diversity, open borders douche-nozzle the Democrats nominate. ]

So now they are using the Bible to try and bring down Trump. I can also think of many versus in the Bible to justify why Christians should vote for Trump. Now they are scraping the bottom of the barrel. What is next? Use the Koran to justify why we should not vote for Trump? This is pure rubbish talk now.

What tortured thinking!

Trump is running for President, not Pope.

Evangelicals’ national and local pastors and leaders are in the papers for committing incest, adultery, theft, murder of spouse — you name it.

Apply your legalistic standards to yourself and don’t be pharasaic.

The same God who can send a leader to be a judgement to a nation can send one to be a blessing.

It seems the “evangelicals” would have stayed in Babylon and not gone back to Jerusalem because the ruler that freed them (Cyrus) was uncircumcised.

As a evangelical Christian I support Cruz, but have no problem voting for Trump...

Trump isn’t a Christian, (at less by my measure) many former POTUS were not either, so I don’t see an issue here evangelicals voting for him...

I cannot understand how evangelicals can back him, especially when we have a number of solid, God-fearing, capable alternatives

Can the candidate who is acceptable to "evangelicals" (whatever that means) get elected?

Very, very doubtful.

Trump may not be an angel but if he’s the best chance to deliver us from Satan’s helper in the WH and it looks like Cruz isn’t going to pull enough votes to get elected I’ll vote for him. Anything but the Satanic children that are in the current regime.

"I cannot understand how evangelicals can back him, especially when we have a number of solid, God-fearing, capable alternatives."

Because they can't beat Clinton. How does the sound of President Hilary Clinton sound to you? How does the thought of Bill Clinton in the White House for 4 more years sound to you?

Think about that. Let it sink in. Meditate on it. Ponder it. Pray over it.

Then be afraid, be very afraid and then you'll know who to vote for.

Donald Trump is “the world” personified. We already have someone living in the White House who thinks he’s God.

I’m going to vote for Cruz in the primary, as I think he is a conservative. But I have no trouble voting for Trump if he gets the nomination even though he is fairly liberal and not a Godly man. Why? Because he has the right enemies- the whole of the left and the GOP-E. Whatever happens, he won’t be controlled by them, and that is in my view a good thing.

There are no perfect candidates.
I am a Cruz supporter but will vote for Trump if he gets the nomination.

Would I hire Trump as a pastor? Nope. Would I vote for Billy Graham as President? Nope. God has often used the ungodly to work his will.

Do I support Trump? No. I prefer Cruz. But would I vote for Trump over Hillary or Sanders? Yep! I’d crawl across broken glass to do so, as the saying goes. I’d even vote for Jeb over Hillary, although I’d clothespin my nose and then wash my hand with alcohol.

At this point in time, I’m not sure we need a “prudent man” for President. Sometimes reckless gets more done.

I don’t want my daughter to marry someone like Trump, but that is not the question.

“I understand the tremendous popularity of Donald Trump in America in 2015...He is a larger than life reality TV star”

He OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT understand Trump’s popularity if he includes the TV star aspect.

Most of us COULD CARE LESS regarding that.

Aw, geez, here we go again! Throw the election to the Democrats because the Republican candidate didn’t meet your lofty ideals! That got us 8 years of Obama! You want 8 years of Hillary?
