Cruz is a strict law and order kind of guy. I have a lot of confidence in his will to enforce our laws.

Do you now? Despite the fact that Law And Order Ted failed to come right out and say that illegals will be deported on contact with law enforcement?

You're telling me that having a "conversation" about what to do with tens of millions of law breaking illegals is acceptable law enforcement to you?

Sheeesh.....may as well keep the current resident in office if that's your standard.

Cruz is wishy washy on illegal immigration because he plays to his big donors. See how this works.

This is how it's done:

Cruz received more than 175,000 donations, and the average contribution was $81. Donors from every state in the nation and five territories backed him, and he has donors in 48 percent of all postal ZIP codes in America. Outside groups backing Cruz have also raised an addition $38 million. Source

I don’t want a conversation. Cruz, you are losing it.

BTW, I’m not a “Cruz backer.” He has yet to clear a couple of major issues for me before I could be. I will make distinctions I see as positive or negative as the case may be. For me, I don’t trust Donald Trump at all.

Then we can sort it out with green cards or something like the Bracero program.

No green cards. Get the names, fingerprints and photos of each single illegal, send them back over the border. Then if they try to come back in and are caught, either instant jail or air drop them over a desert. They're all felons, not citizens, and are essentially invading. They don't deserve any rights here.

“we can have a conversation at that point about whatever people remain here illegally.”

No thanks. I don’t like unpleasant surprises.

Expediting them back is not moving them to the back of the line:

Trump said Wednesday in an interview with CNN's Dana Bash that as president he would deport all undocumented immigrants and then allow the “good ones” to reenter the country through an "expedited process" and live in the U.S. legally, though not as citizens. "Legal status," Trump suggested. "We got to move 'em out, we're going to move 'em back in if they're really good people."

That is true, but he did say they would be behind the people already using the front door.

I agree with Cruz on this point...don’t get roped into a definitive position by the drive-bys that will be used as a campaign commercial for the Hildabeast!

Secure the border and pro-actively enforce our current laws. Beef up E-verify to cut off the incentives to cross the border. This will be Yuuuuge!

In addition to a Yuuuge PR issue, the problem with deportation is in being able to round up all these illegal hombres, mujeres, y ninos. How are they going to be identified? Seems like a Yuuuge nightmare!

IMHO, the only way to handle this issue is to make sure to deport as many criminal hombres as possible....and I mean even for jaywalking!!!...then, for the rest provide some form of legal work status...but, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER grant them citizenship...NO VOTING, NO WELFARE, NO GOVERNMENT BENEFITS...NADA!!! They broke the law to get here, so they forfeit their right to citizenship. If they wish to go back home, get in line, and follow our laws, we can let them back in on a path to citizenship following the standard timeline... This seems fair to everyone involved!

I think this is where Cruz is going, but he won’t say it at this moment!

He does say they will be deported on contact with law enforcement.:

________________________________________ CRUZ PLAN TO STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION HIGHLIGHTS

"It's not that we don't know how to solve illegal immigration. What is missing is the political will to get it done. And, as president, I will get it done. We will secure the borders." - Ted Cruz

SECURE THE BORDER

A Cruz Administration's first priority for immigration reform will be to secure the U.S.-Mexico border. We will:

* Build a wall that works. The unsecured border with Mexico invites illegal immigrants, criminals, and terrorists to tread on American soil. I will complete the wall.

* Triple the number of Border Patrol agents. Securing the border is the federal government's obligation. I will dedicate the force necessary to do that. * Increase vital aerial surveillance and other technology along the border. Adding boots on the ground is not enough. Eyes in the sky and other equipment are necessary to find and detain all illegal entrants.

Finish the biometric tracking system at our nation's ports of entry. It is disgraceful that our federal government cannot keep track of those who enter the country. I will complete a biometric RULE OF LAW

We need a President who will follow the law, hold those who break it accountable, and take seriously the duty to protect Americans. To restore the Rule of Law, a Cruz Administration will:

* End President Obama's illegal amnesty.

* I will restore our commitment to enforcement, public safety, and the Rule of Law by rededicating DHS to fully enforcing the law, including through deportations and returns.

* End sanctuary policies, sign Kate's Law, and deport criminal immigrants. There are about 340 sanctuary jurisdictions in the United States. They make a mockery of our laws and endanger our citizens. I will end support for these jurisdictions.

* Prohibit illegal immigrants from receiving financial benefits and strengthen E-Verify. American taxpayers should not be funding benefits for those who are here illegally, and American jobs should not go to those who are here illegally. I will protect Americans'al executive memoranda rewarding illegality. I will rescind each and every one on myfirst day in office. * *Increase deportations and end catch-and-release. Our laws are not being enforced

That $700k total includes his 2011-12 run in Texas in which he was a far cry better than his opponent from the perspective of the Club for Growth.

Try again, dollars, dates, and sources for this election cycle please.

You are demonstrably a Trump fanboi. That is true. “Go Trump” and all that.

And you are piling onto the trash-Cruz bandwagon with this piece, which implies that Cruz doesn’t care about illegal immigration. He does, and has made enforcing the border a priority of his campaign.

If they are in the U.S. illegally, they need to first go home.

Won't do any good when the borders are a large sieve that stops almost no one. In a sense, Cruz is right. There is no sense in deporting anyone if the borders are meaningless boundaries. That's like bailing water from a row boat with a cup measure when you have a fist-sized hole in the hull.

Donald Trump's plan IS an amnesty in that he wants an expedited system for "the good ones" to come right back in, and he says he wants them, leaving us with exactly the demographic Democrat bonanza we all oppose. Cruz says he will enforce the law. The existing law is not the problem. Enforcing it is.

Bingo.

“Keep those floodgates open until the border is secured?”

That doesn’t even make sense. Ted Cruz wants to secure the border. That’s a priority for him. Period. He wants to both “close the floodgates” and “secure the border.”

It's too bad, but you've been had, by a pro.

What's cute is your statement from the link: "He says he wants them back. Having the same people, future Democrats all, that were hurting us economically"

Yes, illegal immigration hurts us. That's why you want a pro-American immigration/work policy so you can bring people on our terms. Sounds like a good plan! What's Ted Cruz's plan again? :)

Sure thing. Here you go - Club for Growth:

- - -

Club For Growth only supports candidates who support their "open borders" "globalist" objectives: Amnesty Comprehensive Immigration Reform Trans-Pacific Trade Deal

Their current favored candidates are Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. From September 1st through September 30th Club For Growth spent $3.3 Million on attack ads against Donald Trump. FEC Filing:"

From everything I see, the Wilks Brothers supplied that money to support the promotion of Christian values.

You're failing.
