It may be too late for that. Erdogan has been systematically replacing high-ranking Turkish military officers with individuals less opposed to Islamist rule. In similar fashion, our American Islamist Hussein has been removing high-ranking officers who disagree with him and promoting more compliant officers into the general officer corp.
