For the umpteen-billionth time, the Pope’s stupid comments endorsing the Global Warming Hoax have absolutely nothing to do with Papal Infallibility.

The temperature of the Earth is not part of the teaching of the Catholic Church. Therefore, the Pope can say any idiotic thing he pleases about that subject, and Papal Infallibility is not involved in any way.

"The problem is that climate has been changing every year since the Earth started spinning around the Sun."

Not to be picky or overly technical, but we all know the sun spins around the earth along with every other object in the night's sky. We all know something about that changes every year, and we call that the seasons. But nobody can explain how the North Star stays in the same place regardless of the seasons.

It's a question Google doesn't address. It could be just as big and bad a lie as global warming.

But of course the Earth is not at the center of the universe because that might affect the philosopher and the scientist's ability to disprove what God made obvious.

We don’t. The people he picks to surround himself are satanic. You can judge a person by their actions. He has NO understanding of “global warming” and surrounds himself with the Marxist (irrational) scientists and excludes the real scientists (anti-global warming ones who look at facts).

He defies the Catholic Canon and elevates men who needed to be excommunicated decades ago, and allows them to elevate satanism—homosexuality and abortion/contraception....and is mum on abortion when in America. Just pure evil, if you ask me (and I went to Catholic schools all my life).

Of course, all of Vatican II popes are suspect in my estimation except the one that was murdered (John Paul I) after 33 days in office-—since he was going to shake up the corruption inside the Vatican Bank.

>>While Pope Francis left earlier in the week for Africa, a pair of his shoes headed to Paris.<<

>>The papal shoes — black Oxfords with a laminated sign above them adorning Francis’ signature and the words “Laudato Si’” — joined thousands of other sneakers, slippers and pumps in a symbolic march at the Place de la Republique in Paris.<<

“Pope Francis: The world is near ‘suicide on climate change; ‘it’s now or never’”

In that case, my choice is “never”.

Yeah, get out of that church. From a former catholic.

Nope! That isn't in the cards.

A couple of decades ago I started reading The Good News as though there was meaning and found there was for me.

In another lifetime I went to the seminary with the idea that I could get ordained then teach The Good News. Life intervened. To this day, about four, nearly five decades hence, I'm still trying to figure out what the Grand Puppeteer has in mind for me.

Along the way I have met a good many men who completed that course of study I left and discovered many of them figured out the purpose, at least, of The Good News long before I did. These are men I will always be proud to freely associate (with).

The thing of it is is the Catholic Church recruits representatives the same place other persuasions do i.e. that eminently flawed human race. Catholics don't have a monopoly on nit wit leaders. Nevertheless, a couple in my life walked among the giants who ever lived on this earth i.e. Pius XII and John Paul II.

John XXIII or Paul VI? I just don't know that much about them. Same with Benedict although there appears to be some intrigue in that one. John Paul I only lasted about a month.

I'm not sure we can condemn the Catholic Church because we have a Pope who thinks his theater of operations is something other than sin. He can harm respect due the office. For some that respect doesn't have far to fall. Lots of people in lots of churches could use a little more introspection.

I'll stick with this one for awhile.

I'll take "never" for 200 dollars.

Has this dude ever picked up a Bible? This is a legitimate question. I don’t remember in Revelation where it talks about the four horsemen riding in on SUVs and spraying aerosol cans along the way.
