The Supreme Court had clarified in Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. v. Sawyer that executive orders do not have the force of law unless they are legislatively supported by Congress. So if the president makes such an order without Congress support then it is blatantly unconstitutional imo.
But also note that even if Congress supported such an executive order, it remains that the states have never delegated to Congress, expressly via the Constitution the specific power to regulate guns for non-militia, non-army purposes imo. So Congress would be supporting an executive order that Congress does not have the constitutional authority to address.
In fact, I suspect that corrupt, RINO-controlled incumbent federal lawmakers want to take away our constitutional arms protections, but are letting last-term Obama do their dirty work for them with an unconstitutional executive order so that they can be reelected next year.
Remember in November! Support Trump, or whatever conservative patriots elect, by also electing a new, state-sovereignty respecting Congress that will work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support the president.
