I admire 99.9% of what Cheney stands for, but he needs to keep this to himself.

He did state that any American citizen who traveled abroad to JOIN ISIS and fight for jihad should not be allowed to return to the U.S. BIG DIFFERENCE THERE, bucko! You CAN and SHOULD forfeit your U.S. citizenship for willfully consenting to join forces with an enemy that has sworn to destroy the United States! It’s called TREASON.
If you can show a conspiracy or if you can show some overt act such as serving in the Army of a foreign power like Isis, you can probably constitutionally deny that citizen his normal rights.

Apparently, Dick Cheney has never really learned the differences between Puritanism and Islam.
Freedom of Religion in the US was premised upon differences in religions which were ALL Judeo-Christian.
It didn’t consider humanism, paganism, satanism, or Islam as comparative religions.
It also derived at a time when the colonies mandated every citizen to attend church one day a week.
So does gay “marriage.”

The, they all of a sudden act as if it's a slap against the same religious Freedom that Citizens have as a Constitutional right.
This is where I think Cheney has it all wrong - he forgets that the Constitution protects the religious Freedom of Citizens, not of every lunatic wanting to come here to commit jihad...
