I don’t trust Trump as far as I could kick him, but I’ll support him over any of the other candidates. He was born here, raised to be a productive businessman, isn’t devoutly religious, owes nothing to special interests or lobbies, and loves this country.

Funny, that’s the first time I’ve ever heard anyone call Cruz smarmy or condescending.

In other words, you signed up TODAY to tell us that you'll happily vote for the guy you don't trust because Cruz is just tooooo into the God stuff, plus he's not eligible!

So you're an idiot, a birther, and a troll.

I'd think it would be more honest to attribute those characteristics to Trump vs. Cruz.

Welcome to FR.

He was born here, ...

Wait. What? Are you insinuating that one of the GOP candidates isn't eligible?

... isn't devoutly religious, ...

Whoa! Do you know what website you're on?! "Religion" and faith is a cornerstone of Conservatism.

Birther. Anti-religion. Wow. Perhaps ... the welcome wagon may not show up at your door after all n00b.

LMAO. You mean some FReepers have reduced themselves to idol worship? Sure hope that doesn’t backfire....again.

Trump sells himself. We don’t need to spam FR with lame articles trying to convince people of what you can’t see for yourself because it isn’t obvious.

You have that wrong.

Cruz sells himself.

The media plays up Trump because they think he is the easiest to beat.

True. Although...come to think of it, Trump was figured out to be speaking on a fourth-grade level, wasn't that right?

So maybe instead of condescension---when it comes to Trump---I would settle for that old standby, bloviating gasbaggery.

It’s just one of those days when the patience for BS is non-existent.

Are you over that mischievous streak from yesterday, or just planning the next one, LOL?

Was he born in a manger?

******************

A Canadian manger at that....... LOL.....

A few jokes, etc. need to be employed to break up this routine. There are issues that
need to be addressed and whomever wins the next Presidential election will have to
deal with. Hopefully for the betterment of all.

“The media plays up Trump because they think he is the easiest to beat.”

So the same media calling him a nazi, fascist, racist, bigoted, is actually trying to get him nominated? That this is “playing him up”?

Ok...

Hardly a troll. I’ve been around FR since the Lewinsky days. Just never posted previously.

Obviously a mistake posting since my opinion is met with some pretty fierce hatred. I did nothing but voice my opinion and got called all sorts of names. I didn’t call you any sort of epithet.

Is the hateful, judgmental attitude I’m sensing typical for Cruz supporters? I thought the TOS on this site prohibited personal attacks.

Of course they do.

They want the best whipping boy they can find for their liberal memes and Trump fits the bill quite easily with his penchant for saying whatever is on his mind. Add in his wavering on many issues and tacking opposing positions and he is the perfect candidate in the mind of the Left to be used as a rhetorical punching bag by Hillary.

This election as usual brings out the natural nasty disposition of many of us here

Down South we have a wine glass half full versus half empty analogy to distinguish between forward lookers and angry dwellers in the past sorts respectively

We have both Trump and Cruz at the top of the pack which shows our revolt against the entrenched business as usual PC at any price culture in America is on its heels for the moment

We should be encouraged because we just might possibly end up with

A) the most tenacious real world guy ever to win a nomination (since Jackson anyhow) who obviously believes in the traditional nation he grew up in

Or

B) a serious minded ideologue fellow traveler not see since here Magnus

Or we might get lucky and get both

And even if we lose we have brought the current media and political establishment a reckoning the likes they have never seen since all this racial mostly redress and self hate garbage started in my youth 50 years ago

We should be encouraged instead of fighting

And the big mouths here need to be prepared to strongly support either one because either is a huge huge win

Don't confuse honest criticism of your half-baked posts with hatred, you'll sound exactly like a left-wing troll if you do.
