I literally provided the link in the OP, and the quote even directly says "undocumented immigrants," in an article talking about "undocumented immigrants." Instead of just googling for the words "Ted Cruz Legalization" to find something irrelevant, you could have just read the OP.
Cruz’s stance is right where it’s been: no pathway to citizenship.
Again-—no pathway to citizenship. He’s been clear, and you can find it from many different sources.
That’s it.
And? You do understand there's a difference between a pathway to citizenship and RPI and LPR legal status, don't you?
Though, Cruz is speaking nonsense if he believes he can create a second class of permanent resident that has no ability to naturalize. Later legislation-- if not the courts-- would grant it, and until that time, there'd be "former" illegals marching next to BLM supporters.
Which is exactly what he's always said---no pathway to citizenship, but the details can be discussed after the border is sealed.
That's not a gotcha. It's common sense. The border must be sealed before anything else. Beyond that, Cruz has been clear on his intentions.
I guess he expects people not to be so dumb that they need it repeated every time he opens his mouth.
Of course you are right. No pathway to citizenship. I think it’s green cards he’s for, isn’t it?
Never mind. I know better than to try and reason with you.
Hey, he isn’t for extending the Civil Rights Act to queers because it’s “fair”, like your boy is.
Well, odd thing there. Civil Rights to American citizens doesn’t bother me nearly as much as millions of aliens coming across the border and then being rewarded for being here.
On the scale of importance in saving this country, there is a big difference.
That’s what I want to know..
I’m sure extending the Civil Rights Act to queers out of “fairness’ doesn’t bother you. Many Trump fans go left.
Good luck with that.
Honey, if it makes you happy to insult me instead of taking an honest look at your guy, go right ahead.
If Cruz has been clear, then what does he mean when he says we will “have a conversation” after the border is secured?
So let me get this straight:
First you make some random, completely false statement that I allegedly quoted an article about legalizing MARIJUANA, because you claimed you googled for it, even though I sourced the quote and the quote itself even directly says "undocumented immigrants."
Second, you make a completely irrelevant remark where you refuse to acknowledge the distinction between a pathway to citizenship and legalization.
And now you're saying you can't reason with me?
Shut up.
‘Cruz’s father claims that his son is “annointed” to take control over society, among other things’
I have asked Cruz supporters to explain this. His father was speaking on behalf of the Cruz campaign when he said it, so it is certainly relevant. Otoh, there is nothing remotely Christian about the concept of Cruz being an “ anointed king” whose role is to divide the spoils.
Cruz supporters believe if they don’t vet—or allow others to vet—their candidate, the left won’t vet him either. That is a psychotic position.
Shoot them all on sight, presumably. Mass graves.
I don't know if that means a wall from the Pacific to the Gulf or not.
And neither does anyone else here.
Please be specific about what was dishonest for us innocent bystanders.
